Review: Gentle Clay Mask - I switch to this pink clay mask from a kaolin based mask, mostly to see if there was much difference. I guess kaolin is a bit stronger and pink clay is more gentle (?). For my oily/ combination skin it's a little too gentle and I don't get much out of using this product (for example, my kaolin mask kept my sebaceous filament under control, whereas they are more visible when I use this mask). It does feel really nice on my skin, and it's very good value for money. My husband occasionally uses this product-- while he doesn't like the feel of it on his skin (he says it sting, but it could just be the mask drying), it also works extremely well for him. He also has oily skin, but our skin types are slightly different and he doesn't use many skincare products. It doesn't have a smell and it does dry quickly. I would consider purchasing again if I got more benefits out of it. Review: Too difficult to remove - Has a whipped like consistency at first due to lots of air bubbles in it. But it’s actually very thick and not easy to apply. 2 stars as it’s very difficult to remove as well. I have to leave hot towels on my client for a bit then try and wipe it off. Mixing in some oil made no difference. Such a shame as the pink colour of this mask is really pretty.
