Would this help/prevent?** A: I placed it in the center of my dash. After a couple of hours operating and being in the hot sun, it would shut down. After it cooled it would run again. I assumed that it would simply overheat. **Q: What colors does it come with** A: Black only **Q: Does it come in red** A: Don’t know that but black is good **Q: Does this work with gps too?** A: This device is simply a rubber friction mount that the Garmin Glo, a GPS receiver, fits into.
