Review: Good Value - Good quality, detailed, interesting book, well made item and good value - Perfect Review: great for any halifax fan - I love WW2 bombers and aeroplanes, I have already got the author's Haynes manual on the Shorts Stirling so I knew this would be a good read. It is! Lots of pictures and facts right from the design, prototyping and flying through to the modifications during and after the war. Accounts of the aeroplanes salvaged from underwater. Interestinf facts I had not read elsewhere. Unlike some aircrafty books, this isn't padded-out with boring columns of endless figures and mission numbers etc. Every page turn is another delight.

To bad there is no flying example of this bomber, it would be nice to see it against the Lancaster and to here the difference with the Hercules radial vs. the Merlin. A good book on a little known plane for those living in the states. Nice to have two examples, one restored and the other not, to see.

Excellent, well researched and detailed discussion of the Halifax which is one of the maligned and forgotten bombers of WWII.The texts is profusely illustrated with photos including many inside photos of the magnificent restoration in the Trenton, Ontario aviation museum. This volume is one of the best in the Owner's Workshop Manual series.

Un clásico británico "tapado" por el Lancaster. Bien descrito por buen precio.

Handley Page Halifax: 1939 onwards (all marks) This is a great book with detailed information on all marks of the Halifax. Lots of diagrams and photos. A must-have for modellers. Even better than the Lancaster book in the series.
