Review: great for any halifax fan - I love WW2 bombers and aeroplanes, I have already got the author's Haynes manual on the Shorts Stirling so I knew this would be a good read. It is! Lots of pictures and facts right from the design, prototyping and flying through to the modifications during and after the war. Accounts of the aeroplanes salvaged from underwater. Interestinf facts I had not read elsewhere. Unlike some aircrafty books, this isn't padded-out with boring columns of endless figures and mission numbers etc. Every page turn is another delight.

I love WW2 bombers and aeroplanes, I have already got the author's Haynes manual on the Shorts Stirling so I knew this would be a good read. It is!
