Very nice tool. A friend sent me a few items for sewing around Christmas, and included with it was a wood handled seam ripper, which I liked so much I decided to purchase this stiletto from the same company. The seam ripper is much easier to use than the small plastic ones btw. Both are high quality, the handles are comfortable, seem very durable, and are reasonably priced. They look really pleasing to the eye also.

I had no idea how much I would appreciate having this. I make a lot of bags and this makes getting through those tight spaces and curves so much easier. I don’t sew anything without this now. It guides the fabric smoothly, allows me to hold down tiny seams, really perfect my stitching as I go. Highly recommend!

After putting the sewing machine needle through the tip of my finger (yes, that horror story does happen!), I decided I'd better buy a stiletto tool. I already have the seam roller and love it, so this was the obvious choice for me. I love the feel of this tool in hand, it's the perfect length and weight, not too heavy or light. The finish is smooth and soft, and the shape is easy to hold. There are flattened edges on the side that allows you to grip it without hurting your fingers. The small sized, angled presser edge at the top is great for finger pressing smaller seams or in little spaces your roller can't go. Besides keeping my thumb from being speared again, this tool has been very helpful in guiding fabric and seams under the presser foot and my sewing is improving because of it.

Outstanding tool! How did I ever get along without stilettos machine sewing all these years? They work great for carefully feeding delicate bits through the sewing machine, and also can function as an awl to puncture fabric for smaller rivets. The wood handle is well crafted and comfortable.

I like it has a flat side so it doesn't roll off the table. Nice point. Used other end during sewing hexagons and does help open seams for a nice finish. Will buy second one for other sewing area.

I was quite tired of smashing my finger on my sewing machine while trying to guide fabric in and this little tool has been a terrific discovery. The metal stiletto end holds down the edges of my fabric near the needle while I am sewing. I have also been using while ironing the fold over seams on quilt patches. It works so great and I have no more burns on my fingertips. The only reason I deducted a star was because this little device rolls right off my table. It would have been nice if there was a "side" that was sanded flat so it would stay put.

The Savina range of wooden sewing items are absolute quality! They are always presented well and do the job they were designed for. I love this particular stiletto so much, it’s so pretty and also ergonomically lovely to use. I would but this again as a gift or a spare if needed. Highly recommended!
