Will this work on a shoe repair

I am not sure but I don't think it will be that good. I used it for leather hats but it wasn't my favourite glue. I guess it depends on what you want to do with it and how strong it needs to be.

Not that I'm aware of. Been using it for a while on heavy duty leather and it is very strong. On testing it for strength, the leather has broken or torn but never the joint. Similar bond to contact adhesive but a lot thinner and with no mess or smells. HTH

Which glue is it? The picture and the title describe different glues.

I ordered this glue and got “eco-flo leathercraft glue” . The eco-flo leathercraft glue I received is a white glue and looks a bit like PVA glue and smells like PVA glue. Personally I would call Tandy and speak to someone there about the glue. I was using it for gluing leather together for hats, it was ok but I wasn’t 100% convinced. I would speak to Tandy as they will be able to advise you better than I can.

What’s the drying time on this? And when burnishing does it gather up into globs like cement? Thank you

I clamp critical joints for 12 hours, but for normal joints a few hours will be fine. The glue is surprisingly thin, bit has a small amount of 'grab' like contact adhesive. It is clear when dry and leaves no trace around the joint, completely absorbed into the leather. Burnishing has no effect on the glue, it's like working a single piece. Tip: Only apply to where the leather is jointed. I apply with an artists brush to marked lines. it will stop certain dyes penetrating into the leather. HTH

Great glue.

it does exactly what it is supposed to. Only four stars for now as i am just using it and have not had enough time to see how durable it is. For now it is great and I can come back and edit when I have more experience using it.
