I did give it a good feel and there’s no burrs in the metal or anything to catch on yarn. I love metal hooks but I prefer ergonomic ones because it’s a little easier to crochet for longer. I may buy another set and play with different kind of handle materials. These look and feel promising. If I incur any problems I will update my review, otherwise they seem great and would recommend to at least give it a try. Also for anyone wondering these are more of a boye hook tip. Edit: there is a coating on the hooks idk what it is but it does create a drag on some yarns. So it’s not as smooth as most brands. I would recommend them for a beginner beings that your stitches won’t easily slip off if you crochet too fast. I’m a fast crocheter so I don’t think these will make the normal rotation for me.
