So cute. You just need a good and thick royal icing to put these together. But the outcome is super cute. The cutters work beautifully. If you have a dough that doesn't spread, the pieces fit together perfectly.

These make the most adorable little gingerbread houses. They don’t exactly sit in the side of a mug, but that’s not what I bought them for. We made gingerbread house kits for friends and gifted them inside of clear plastic Christmas ornament balls. Our friends loved putting them together.

I just received this in the mail today. It is three pieces, magnet attracted to the metal, so stainless steel looks appropriate. Tiny cute pieces like the picture. Small square is 1"x1", rectangle is 1-1/4" x 1-3/4", and house is 1-3/4" tall to peak of roof and 1-1/2" wide. I'll update after I try making some of these. I love the idea of perching tiny decorated houses on a mug. Why did I write the review right now? When items are made in other countries, sometimes the English is interesting. This is what came on the packaging (clearly meant for another product): -Easy to use -Suitable for use with a variery (variety?) of mediums including Sugar Florist Paste (SPF), modelling chocolate (Cocoform) and cold porcelain. -All SK Great Impressions moulds are made from platinum-cured silicone approved for food contact. My note: clearly does not describe stainless steel INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: 1. Wash the mould in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before use. 2. Free the paste from the board, using SK cutters, cut out a petal shape and place this onto one half of the veiner. Predd (Press?) down with the other half of the veiner to emboss both sides of the petal with a natural, veined pattern. 3. Remove the petal from the veiner and soften the edges with a ball tool. if desired. I have no idea what a veiner is. I was hoping for some instructions for the gingerbread forms, but figure they are the same as any cookie cutter. I look forward to trying this with grandkids at Christmas. I gave 4 stars because the shapes are within 1/8" on parallel sides, so the cooked gingerbread should have nice to work with shapes, but removed one star because of the lack of instructions.

Our extended family has had so much fun with these! Between my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, and my little ones, these have been a huge hit! As you can see, you can decorate them various ways. You can also use pre-made gingerbread or cookie dough or make them from scratch. (I’m lazy and prefer to buy pre-made dough.) If you’re stuck inside, these are fun to make and give away too! They look really cute sitting on the side of a cup of coffee or hot chocolate too.

I loved making these little gingerbread houses for gift baskets for my friends. They are well-made, not flimsy, and each cutter made consistent cuts every time. Building these adorable little houses was truly fun. I'm used to making much more complicated gingerbread structures, and in my humble opinion, these are very easy to create. FYI, keep the leavening out of your cookie recipe so your cut cookies don't puff-up out of shape.
