I bought this chair after needing a high back drafting chair to accompany my new desk I built. It was on sale and It looked to work after watching all the videos and checking out reviews and pics. It came in 1 box that weighed 50lbs. The instructions were easy and the parts were all protected and marked. It took me less than 15 minutes to assemble. Positives: leans back... was worried about distance/stability; it's quality even when fully lifted @180lbs person has many smooth quiet adjustments sturdy construction and quality materials lack of fake leather means it will look good and last much longer than other chairs material is easy to clean can take a beating because of the hard plastic construction and still look good cons: back is open so if you work in a colder office your back might get cold. head rest can't be fully moved out of the way in front-to-back adjustment so big headphones turning your head can make them hit the head rest. IDK a forward back locking mechanism is the only way around the design which is comfortable the majority of the time... just not when turning your head with big headphones. The seat is a little hard for me for long usage. I just use a seat pad and everything is great. Best chair I've ever purchased under $300

I've just put this together so it's an early review, but so far I can say it's one of the more comfortable and sturdy office chairs I've sat in, especially when it comes to tall drafting chairs. In the past, I've tried drafting chairs around this price point that honestly felt pretty precarious and I had a hard time trusting them to hold me, but this one feels solid even when its extended to full height. I don't feel top heavy or like I might topple over when I shift my weight around. The seat is spacious and very well padded and feels like it will probably hold up really well over time. The arm rests are also well padded and support my entire arms so my hands rest comfortably on the keyboard and mouse. The foot rest is large enough that my legs are in a comfortable position that won't cut off circulation when sitting for a long time. The design is somewhat basic, but to be honest that's what I was looking for because sometimes chairs try a little too hard to look unique and just end up being impractical or looking cheap and gimmicky. At first, I didn't even realize it reclined until I read the product description again and saw that you can pull the handle out to unlock the reclining ability. I'm not the biggest fan of reclining when I'm sitting in a tall chair so I'll probably keep it locked most of the time, but it still feels stable even when you lean back so it's nice to have the option. I've seen a few people mention the hydraulics not working well or sinking, but that hasn't been my experience at all so maybe they just got a bad batch and should exchange for a new piston. Instructions were easy and it's pretty quick to assemble. So far, I'm feeling really happy with this purchase.

The assembly was extremely simple, no issues. So far sits comfortably and sturdy, and I love that I can adjust the height of the seat and foot rest. Let's see how long it last, only 2 days in use. The quality appears to be good!

Didn't take long at all to assemble, pretty straightforward documentation & holy moly do I feel like a different me sitting at the computer with this chair. My back and neck can finally relax. 10/10 would recommend. Build quality also seems solid but do yourself a favor and just purchase separate casters (wheels) yourself. I bought some that were ~20$ and they let you glide across the floor (wooden) silky smooth.

I really love the height range, as most other computer chairs can't go as high as this one, so I needed to match the height of my computer table and this was perfect

I bought this to replace a less comfortable drafting chair, and while the plush seat is nice, for my personal ergonomics, the seat could easily stand to be 4"-5" higher from the ground, as once one sinks into that plush seat and is now sitting too low for the desk vs. a standing position. A drafting chair with a proper range should allow one to leave their monitor and desk at a fixed height, with the chair meeting up with that. This fails to do that for me, but should be fine for shorter people. If you're under 6 feet tall, this is probably great, but otherwise, it's well made but not ideal.

put it together reasonably quick and easily.... i was surprised and disappointed to immediately notice the chair did not lift to its full height without my help.... once at the top position i sat on the chair and the seat settled to 5" or 6" lower!!!! I weigh 175lbs... chair is advertised for far more than that. now i have to try to return this .... wasted time and disappointed.
