Fantastic product. Gurgling when emptying the bath. Fitted to basin and fixed instantly.
Couldn't be easier to install. A direct replacement for the original basin waste. Takes minutes to swop over and an instant cure to gurgling noise.

It works
If you're fitting a new sink or bath anywhere other than the ground floor, you need a trap with a Pressure release valve. It stops any gurgling noises, just by using an anti syphon trap. Simple and it works

Worth spending a bit more...
Was using a compact version and was getting a lot of blockages and slime mould. With this item water flushes away much faster so is cleaner and quieter.

The anti-syphon feature cured the problems
I like to buy McAlpine plumbing parts as they are always high quality and this is no different. I swapped out a normal bottle trap for an anti-syphon one as my bathroom basin was gurgling and running slowly. It was easy to fit and solved the problem

Easy to fit and it cancels out the gurgles...
This was very easy to fit, though I had to reposition the shelf under the sink to make room for it to fit (not an issue with the trap, really). Now that I have it sorted out, it does exactly what I wanted; there are no more gurgles when the sink drains and no more smells coming back up the pipes. Should have done this ages ago!

Hochwertige Qualität
Der beste Siphon den ich je gesehen habe. Kein billiges Teil bei dem man Angst haben muss die Gewinde zu schrotten. Das beste daran ist die "Silent Trap", eine automatische Belüftungsfunktion die dafür sorgt dass beim ablassen des Wassers das "blubbern" unterdrückt wird.

Olores y ruidos eliminados
Funciona perfectamente. Lo he instalado por problemas de olores. Parece que han desaparecido. Por otro lado al vaciar la pica del lavabo hacía ruido de gorgoteo porque se vaciaba el sifón, de ahí los olores, y ha dejado de hacerlo justo instalarlo. Idéntico resultado en otro lavabo. El producto es de muy buena calidad, es más caro que las marcas genéricas, pero McAlpine es una marca reconocida que tiene probada la vida útil de la membrana del aireador, pieza principal del sifón, que es por donde principalmente fallan los demás.
