Review: Loads of Features - I now used it a few times for a live radio programme I do. I'm still learning some of it's features but this has been brilliant for me to transition from CD to digital where I can place a usb flash drive into the unit and have easy access to my prepared tracks. Just a turn of the selector knob and next track is ready. I still can use CDs if necessary or as back-up. Also I like the remote which can be operated from my mixing desk. My only minor criticism to date is the control cables are not too long and the two modules are mounted one above the other in my rack. The CD player has the power unit within and my dynamic mic and does pick up a very slight power hum from it. If a longer cable was available perhaps the CD part could be mounted further away from my mic. I should add it's only during 'dead-air' moments it's heard so not really a major problem.

**Q: Can it play music from both sides controller from cd 1 or usb1**
A: No the CD will only play from the player it has been inserted. The SUB port can be read by either player.Remember if you put a CD in you will have to change the out put selection dial.Hope this information helps.

**Q: is the scratch feature pretty good? does it have a latency?**
A: the scratch feature is realistic, as regards to latency? for your info the usb will not support down loads from iTunes its all acc hope this is helpful

**Q: Does it have a phono socket to connect to a record deck?**
A: Hi, Numark support here! CDN77USB does not feature a phono-level input. We recommend connecting your record player to a phono preamplifier for operation with the line-level RCA inputs featured on the back panel of this product.

I now used it a few times for a live radio programme I do. Takes about 10 seconds to read a disc , which my hi-fi player does in 6 . Great mp3 capability from a usb stick . Now about the sound , they are actually better than my hi-fi player which cost 3 times as much .
