I'm a male who has very curly hair and have struggled for years with dry frizzy hair. I've tried a variety of different shampoos. May the shampoos I tried stay that they were specifically for curly and frizzy hair. However, May those shampoos left my hair feeling frizzy and dry afterwards. I decided to try Scott and Porter, a year ago when they had a deal on prime day. Since buying Scotch and Porter shampoo and conditioner, I've noticed a significant difference with my hair. After every shower, on my hair is completely dry, I notice that my curls are more calm and managed. My doesn't feel dried out after using it. I really like the shampoo and I think it's definitely worth buying and trying out if you have curly hair and having a hard time finding a shampoo that manages your curls.

I've hunted around quite a bit for a great men's shampoo that cleans and moisturizes my hair without requiring a separate conditioner. There are quite a few 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner products but those don't seem to work well, and if you think about the chemistry involved, there's no way that they can be truly effective because they each have opposite functions. Scotch Porter is the closest I've found to perfection. It cleans my hair without stripping it of my natural oils and leaves it feeling soft and with body. I still need a conditioner but only once a week. The lather is rich and it has a deep masculine scent to it that does not overwhelm like a perfume. I like that the shampoo works well and is free of sulfates and other nasty chemicals that typical commercial products contain. Looking forward to sampling the body wash next.

I generally like their other products. This one is a miss. Does not clean or sud up. Leaves hair feeling dirty and flat. It’s also not very viscous.
