It can be a little strong at first, but after using the conditioner and rinsing it out, it leaves my daughter's hair smelling very nice and not over powering. We have been using Johnson & Johnson no tears shampoo since she was a baby, and switched to the J & J shampoo + conditioner formula about 6 months ago. It just wasn't enough to tame her long wild locks. But this stuff makes her hair soft and shiny & manageable! I love the light scent, and the tear free formula. It really has made a noticeable difference after just two uses.
