great device. I use it with Home Assistant to set target temperatures for my home heating system.

The iOS app leads you through the initial set up, and connection to the Bosch Hub, once connected, it’s easy to set up and connect one or more radiator thermostats to the room thermostat and set the room controller with one or more schedules. Set up was quick and easy.

My radiator is some distance from where I sit so keeping me at the temperature I like was a challenge. This solves that issue fi you put it where you are sitting and let it control the radiator using a smart thermostat from bosch. It suits my needs just fine but drops a star for the price.

I connected this to my Home Assistant. It works fine, but there are some things you need to be aware of. After Google pulled the plug on Nest, I have ditched their entire eco system, this is typical of Google just dropping things at a whim, so as not to get caught again, I integrated my boiler into Home Assistant. The boiler is called on with a relay by Home Assistant, and this smart thermostat is used to do that, it cannot "talk" directly to the boiler, but it can work via Home Assistant. Its not really designed for Home Assistant but it does work which is what I got it for. The downside of this thermostat, is that you get a heating "on" or "off" binary from the thermostat. The only problem is that the hysteresis of this device is too small. Under test I had it operating a light, and the on/off ratio is too big, every 3 to 4 minutes the boiler would have been called on and then off. This is not great for the longevity of my boiler. To overcome this, I have the boiler controlled by a climate entity, and an automation which basically reads this units temperature and the setpoint and follows the entity. That seems to work well and I can set the duty cycle and hysteresis from within the separate entity, which is actually operating the boiler. Its a good looking unit, the stand is a bit rubbish, and its probably better off on a wall. EDIT: In Home assistant I have managed to access the ZHA Cluster that alters the deadband, I have now been able to alter the deadband, and it works better.

The device did not live up to expectations. Has a very poor set of functionality, settings, and statistics. There is no way to correctly configure the frequency of switching on by the temperature sensor, there is no heating mode indicator in the application (when the thermostat starts heating). When set to 19 degrees, switching off occurs at a temperature of 19.0 and switching back on at 18.9. A difference of at least 1 degree is required with the ability to configure up to 5 degrees of deviation. There is no data with statistics in the form of a temperature graph for the day/week/month and an indication of when and how long the thermostat was on—terrible tech support. I categorically do not recommend it!

They are more accurate than radiator thermostats, and it's easier to control the temperature. Have 3 of them installed in different rooms, and they work well in a group of radiator thermostats

Super Thermostate stand nur leider vor dem Problem, dass Sie einen Null brauchten welchen die normalen nicht benötigen, daher war der Aufwand Sie zu installieren schon größer als geplant.

Installé sur une chaudière à condensation de la marque Viessmann Vitodens 100-W facilement. Il suffit de connecter le neutre et phase pour l'alimenter et les ports COM et NO pour la communication avec la chaudière. Pour ma part, je l'ai installé dans Home Assistant dans mon installation domitique existante en zigbee. Pour l'intégrer dans Home Assistant, il faut scanner le QR code au dos du produit et l'ajouter dans Zigbee2MQTT. Très facile et facilement configurable.
