The saw came with a blade for dry wood (top blade in picture) so purchased a extra blade for fresh wood (bottom blade in picture - notice the extra gaps between teeth which make all the difference on damp wood). In fact it was able to cut down a bay tree that our neighbours chainsaw couldn't touch because the blade for that kept going blunt and he ended up buying 2 new ones and then gave up!
