What I've been waiting for
I was waiting for this company to come out with this product after being discontinued for so long. After finally getting my hands on it and working with it for a few months I have some thoughts. It definitely does the job; as an artist, I mainly use it in the respective lead mechanical pencil to make quick sketches. If you want a finished product with it however, that is going to take an enormous amount of effort as the lead goes on the paper extremely light. It takes a lot of pressure to get a darker or more noticeable line on the paper. In short, it's great for sketches and for getting quick ideas down. If you want something bold, go with a different lead.

Good lead but prefer the black
The lead is longer than what comes with the pencil by default which is nice. I do not think you can fit two full pieces of led into the pencil at once, but thats not really an issue. The lead marks and holds up well while marking on paper and SMOOTH wood. I had to switch to my carpentry pencil for an unfinished plywood sheet. Again, not a huge surprise since it is a thinner piece of lead. The red shows up well and can be differentiated from a red laser during cutting or leveling. I just prefer the black led aesthetically though.

Lead Isn't Sturdy
I love the pencil; it's a good weight. And I've wanted so long to get my hands on the red lead, because among art circles this pencil went a little viral for how good it is for undersketches. Unfortunately, I'm a little disappointed. It is lovely for undersketches, but the lead breaks constantly and with very little pressure. I'll acknowledge I'm a little heavy handed- my preferred pencil's are 0.9 mm because I like thick lines and I like a lead that doesn't break easy. The bulk of the pencil and the individual leads made me thing they'd be pretty sturdy, but they just keep breaking when I'm drawing. I tried using it just for writing when I'm correcting errors in my classwork, but it breaks constantly when I do that too. Even when I am deliberately trying to be delicate, it breaks.

Little hard to erase but overall good
It is a little hard to erase if you draw it to dark but otherwise it’s very good I like the way it right it’s smooth and it’s good for sketching out whatever you want to draw

This product is not usable in the Write in the Rain notebooks unless using enough paper to snap the lead and or rip the paper. Photo attached shows three samples, OR13 Pencil with included lead, OR13 Pencil with red lead, and finally the write in the rain pocket pen.
