Cheap metal
Do not buy these. Cheap metal only lasted a few months hit a bump and both broke while out of state and stranded us for 5 hours cost over 3000 dollars in damage from the product.

el kit esta incompleto, los tarnillos que trae son de una medida menor a la requerida *para una sportster 2001necesita tornillos de 1/2 y traia de 3/8, tambien los orificios de donde se fija al tensor, no estaban terminado y traia rebaba y tuve que pasarlos por el taladro para que fueran funcionales. Si tienes habilidades mecanicas, no son cosas para preocuparte, pero como llegaron NO ESTAN LISTOS para instalarse

I'm very happy with this product. Quality: Looks like solid quality metal. Heavy and well made. Installation: They are extremely easy to install. I'm new to Harley's and i was able to put these on myself with a motorcycle jack. I also added some blue threadlok on the bolts. How low does it go: It moves the bottom shock bolt back 2" (as you can see on my picture), so that changes the angle of the shock and results in the bike being about 1" lower. I measured my rear fender to the ground before and after install. Comfort or handling: I don't carry passengers, nor big cargo, and I'm 160lbs, so I can't speak to the capacity for heavy loads. However, the ride comfort, suspension (I have the stock 2024 coil suspension) and handling did not change at all. I checked and rechecked after a few rides, and there is still lots of room all around the wheel and shocks. I am not worried about it bottoming out (as i said i don't have excess weight on it either). I give these 5 stars and i do recommend them. I'm a short 5'3" woman, with a 26" inseam, so my bike is high for me. With a modified lowered seat, compensated shoes and this lowering kit, I'm that much closer to being flat footed (still not quite).
