I contacted the seller who after a few customer service emails where they tried to help me we gave up. A nice surprise they sent me a replacement - thank you.Simple effective case device to securely fit the iPhone 5 series to add switchable battery power make the phone battery last for ages so your phone can last a day or more. At last I can use my phone all day and not be worried about it dyingPlug the empty case into a USB and the lights along the black strip start to light up. the more lit lights means it has more power in the battery and the longer you leave it the more it charges itself.Once fully charged the top of the unit slides off, your phone slides in and you lock it in place by sliding the top back on.The external battery can be on or off whilst using the iPhone and neither affects the performance or running of the phone - so you could just leave it on as a new case. Once you run low on power there is an On/Off button on the case and turning it on immediately starts charging the iPhone. As the power reduces in the battery so do the lights on the front of it. Once the unit is turned on the lights do go to sleep and pressing the on button again lights them up again for 30 seconds or so.If both phone and case are low on power when you finally get to a mains socket leave the iPhone in the battery case, plug the battery case in and both get charged.
