Short Review: SSD Enclosure This SSD enclosure is compact, easy to use, and works right out of the box. It provides fast data transfer speeds, keeps the drive well-protected, and stays cool during use. Installation is quick with no tools needed. A great option for turning an SSD into a portable and reliable external drive.

If you need a 2.5” SSD to 3.5” Hard drive adapter - this one is for you. Unlike other models which just give a limited frame - this unit gives you a solid 3.5” container that should easily mount in any PC or Server 3.5” hard drive bay. The open frame types don’t which is why I recommend this one. Solid contraction with holes placed at the strand are hard drive points. Worked very well.

Work as intended in an old PC cradle.

Had two different older desktop cases that I refurbished with new SSD's. The adapters fit perfectly and had fasteners and related locations on each adapter that allowed for solid fitment. The only issue was with one unit that went into an HP desktop. The SATA connector cables felt just a little loose. The other desktop, a Lenovo ThinkCentre computer had a good tight fit, so it was likely more an issue with the connector cables, not the adapter itself. Some tape secured the connectors in place, so all is good. For the price, this is a good deal. Would buy again.

Works as advertised, included screws weren’t flat, so I had to order different ones so they would connect to my NAS properly (Synology RackStation). They advertise it as such, but this really won’t provide any additional cooling because it’s plastic, not metal like the design these were copied from (WD Black). Overall, great product, inexpensive, and it works.

I didn't know this product existed until the need came up. When setting up a Zimablade 2 I needed to mount a 2.5" SSD into a 3.5" bay. This did the trick and has been used 24/7 for more than a month. Very easy to install and I haven't notice any speed issue in my use.

This is absolutely the most complete adapter package I have purchased. The alignment for affixing the 2.5" SSD into the 3.5" Dell HD tray is perfect as are the size and number of the provided screws.
