This is what we wanted! The outside is canvas / tarp material with woven canvas handles. The only thing that may be a pain point is the zipper. Bought these instead of hoarding cardboard boxes to move from one rental duplex to another in the same town. We had a three bedroom, two bath, and I worked from home for a few years selling handmade resin art, jewelry, and crafts on Etsy for that time so, needless to say, there was a BUNCH of little stuff that needed to be packed up and moved. I had just ran to the store to purchase Plan B when I thought they wouldn't arrive on time when delivery said by 8 and it was already 8PM. Met the delivery when I pulled up in the driveway, but I'm glad I got both because we needed them. In hindsight, I actually had bought two packs of these and used every single one. These are GREAT for packing and moving by yourself. I'm a 5'3" woman and I know my limits. My husband was working through most of the packing / moving process so I strategized how I could do it all without running myself into the ground. They feel somewhat flimsy at first, but after packing them to Max capacity multiple times and carrying them like luggage or on my back, NOT A SINGLE ONE HAS A BROKEN ZIPPER OR TORE when maxed out in weight. This includes my handles / straps! We were using a flat bed trailer to transport in addition to our cars. These are MUCH easier to pack into your car / truck or trailer as they are pliable and as long as you packed individual items based on their fragility you can definitely fit more of these then you could stack the same things in cardboard boxes. Could easily fit large equipment like my UV lamps, Studio lighting, shoes, clothes, books, tools - even small decor items and broken down shelving. Nothing poked through, nothing tore. I was skeptical at first if these would withstand the moving let alone the stress test with pointy things and toiletries, chemicals, things that could leak or even being out in the trailer in the rain but we are literally STILL using these bags! I work as a web designer and digital marketing manager for two outboard dealerships so we are oriented around the water and boating. I use one of these to bring my recording equipment onboard so I don't have to worry about the ocean spray or humidity getting to it and the flexible use of the handles lets me carry more by myself then I normally would with a regular backpack. Highly recommend for moving, storage, especially if you're working or planning a trip around the water, on a boat, etc. Reusable and durable - will last!
