Be sure and keep your old rope so you can measure the new one and cut it to fit. Review: I have a WERNER extension ladder that has served me well around the house for 20 plus years. The pully broke at the top of the ladder, and I couldn't easily use the extension feature, so I started looking for a replacement pully. As the rope on my ladder was also 20 plus years old, I decided to get the combination pulley and rope replacement. It took 20 minutes to remove and replace the bracket, pully and rope and make my WERNER ladder 100% useful again!!!
