This cheese is Fabulous
Tastes great the texture is creamy, and the versatility of it to put in almost anything is awesome.

Not Worth Trying!
After 2 attempts, I just can't find this cheese sauce at all enjoyable. I have followed the directions exactly and it's still gritty and just a very fake flavor. I would NOT waste your money!

Good stuff
Pretty good stuff -- I've purchased similar sauce mix at the State Fair. It is easy to make and very good on baked potatoes!

Exactly what I wanted.
I have spent years trying to find a beer cheese that is similar to the appetizers in some restaurants. I am so happy that I found this by Hoosier Farms. It is a powder, which I actually like since it is shelf stable with a long expiration, and you can use how ever little or much you want at a time. I buy the frozen pretzels, Hanover found at Walmart are the best in my opinion, I melt a little butter and drizzle it over the frozen pretzels, sprinkle with salt and bake in my toaster oven. While they are baking, boil a little water in my hot water kettle and add to this powdered mix. It mixes easily with a fork, making a smooth, thick dip for the pretzels. When the pretzels are done, I cut them into bite size pieces and it is the perfect snack. I can’t say enough about how good this Beer Cheese mix tastes and how easy it is to make.

It’s not great, but if you add stuff to jazz it up it’s okay
I can’t lie- this beer cheese mix isn’t great. I can’t speak for the three cheese or the Alfredo flavors, but I don’t love the beer cheese. I love going to BJs and I get theirs with sweet potato fries; I figured they probably used a powder, and I was hoping this would be like that. But it’s not comparable, and much less to homemade beer cheese. I did read the reviews before I ordered, and really thought I would still like it anyways. For me, it’s just the flavor. The texture isn’t amazing either but the flavor is really not my fave. It’s just like bland and weird- but it’s edible if I add lots of stuff like milk and shredded cheese and seasonings, etc etc. but even then it’s not to die for or anything. I still give three stars because it’s really the only thing like it I can find out there, and it’s something to work with I guess! Maybe beer cheese is just one of those things you have to make yourself :P

Delicious
We love this product. Only used it as a dip. But worth it. I was going to add bacon into it, but forgot to buy it. Next time! I had made it to thick the second time. It was easy to thin out with a little more hot water. Kept good consistancy and texture once I was able to get it correct. Flavor is really good, not overpowering. Will be ordering again.

Def not beer cheese at all
This definitely is not like any beer cheese I've ever had. I've actually made it a couple of different ways. So the first time I made it, I did it with water per the instructions. It turns into kind of like the cheese sauce you get in a can. It's kind of that gelatinous translucent orange kind of clear orange. It wasn't very creamy at all. So the second time I made it I actually used milk instead. This time it was much more creamy and more of a consistency of like a cheese sauce. However, after both of those attempts, I have to say that this cheese sauce is not very good at all. I've gotten lots of products from this company and I've loved every single one of them, but this doesn't even taste like beer cheese it kinda taste like an American cheese or something. Beer cheese usually has that nice rich flavor to it but I think they're confusing this for like a pub cheese where it's just a cheese sauce. If you even read the ingredients, there's no malted anything or any kind of reference to beer or being in the cheese at all. I would say if you'd like to try and give it a try, but I was not a fan of it essentially this basically taste like that Rico's cheese in a can you get from the grocery store.

Cannot recommend
This is just awful, full stop. The on-side recipes for dip or sauce are ineffective and either too thin or thick but the biggest issue is the taste, which is stale and very fake. I thought a shelf stable product would be nice to have on hand but in my opinion, this is a waste of money. $15 will buy a pound of some pretty great aged cheddar and stored properly will last for many weeks in the fridge ~ go with that.
