Review: The best emulsion. - Anyone who has emulsioned walls and ceilings knows there is a knack to painting corners because when the roller goes down the edge of one wall, it leaves marks on the wall next to it. So we have to paint the corners in (cut in) so the roller doesn't have to touch the adjacent wall and we get a seamless coverage. We also know that if your cut in section of paint dries before you paint the wall, you can get a visible stripe and we end up having to do several coats and use primer and all sorts of time consuming things to cover the dried cut in. This emulsion ( which used to be called "Once") puts a stop to all that. It's nice and thick and covers the cut in bits beautifully. I will give you an example.... My staircase has very a high ceiling and walls. Impossible to reach without using an extension pole. Last week I was emulsioning it. I had done one wall and had painted the cut in to the next when.....the extension pole broke. I had to drive to the nearest store to buy a new one. My cutting in was bone dry by the time I got back. Using this high quality paint ensured no stripe was visible after the wall was finished. It makes the job much easier because it really does mean you only have to do one coat. Yes it is a bit more expensive than regular emulsion, but I think it works out as better value overall because you don't need undercoat or to paint a second coat. It's not too thick or gloopy but it's not too thin either. It's the perfect consistency and gives great coverage. I have already ordered more for the next DIY job. PS it's approx ten quid cheaper on desertcart than in B & Q

**Q: How many square meters this paint will cover per litre?**
A: Hi There, the coverage of our Matt Emulsion is 13 square meters per litre.

**Q: Does this paint show imperfections on walls?**
A: It wont hide imperfections but being white paint it wont show as much. I had cream and lilac colour does brighten the room but be aware that it Mark's easily if you wipe off Mark's with damp cloth the paint will come off  for that reason I'm not using it again hope this helps

**Q: Can it be used on wooden fences?**
A: This is an interior emulsion and not recommended for wooden fences; I would recommend Cuprinol fence paints for exterior fencing.

**Q: Hi, has anyone tried to use this as paint for a projector screen on a wall?  thanks**
A: Hi Ian not that I am aware of , this product is suitable for any internal wall and ceiling in your house with exception of your bathroom and kitchen .

Unfortunately, the paint was leaking when I opened the package and the inner plastic was also damaged. But if you're looking for a good quality paint in a soft colour, then 'Timeless' is a nice shade and it has good coverage.
