Love it
I recently purchased a Samsonite carry-on, and I am absolutely thrilled with this travel companion! From its thoughtful design to its exceptional quality, it has exceeded all my expectations. One of the standout features of this carry-on is the popable computer pocket. This innovative addition allows me to conveniently access my laptop without having to fully unzip the bag. It's perfect for quickly going through airport security or when I need to take out my laptop during a flight. The padded compartment provides excellent protection for my device, giving me peace of mind during my travels. The smooth wheels are a game-changer, making navigation through busy airports or bustling streets an effortless experience. They glide effortlessly, and the telescopic handle provides excellent control and maneuverability. I love how easy it is to roll this carry-on alongside me, even in crowded spaces. The overall quality of the Samsonite carry-on is outstanding. The materials feel durable and well-crafted, ensuring that it can withstand the rigors of travel without showing signs of wear and tear. I appreciate the attention to detail in the stitching and construction, giving me confidence that this carry-on will be a reliable travel companion for many adventures to come. The interior organization is also well-thought-out. Multiple compartments and pockets allow me to keep my belongings neatly organized and easily accessible. It's a relief to have everything in its designated place, making packing and unpacking a breeze. In conclusion, the Samsonite carry-on is a top-notch travel companion that ticks all the boxes for functionality, convenience, and quality. The popable computer pocket adds a level of convenience I never knew I needed, while the smooth wheels and overall design make traveling a pleasure. If you're in search of a reliable and well-crafted carry-on for your adventures, I highly recommend considering the Samsonite carry-on. It's a fantastic investment that will make your travel experiences even more enjoyable!

My new favorite all-purpose carry-on
I was hesitant to buy but did anyway since a friend recommended, and after taking one trip with it I have no regrets! The hard shell is really sturdy and nice for packing fragile items. The compacting zipper on the outside can still be used to compact it down to proper size or expand if needed. The inner zippered compartments are great for segmenting your items for easy access, and the built-in locking feature is excellent for security and peace of mind. The four wheels are underrated. The way the suitcase glides effortlessly is very satisfying. Just watch it to make sure it doesn't glide away. The handle retracts and extends very easily and is the perfect height for average height adults. It was more pricey than I wanted but I found a decent deal on prime day so I would suggest doing the same.

Lock is unreliable
I was hopeful bc I have other Samonsite softsides and love them. The front panel only opens and locks with the built-in lock and secured only in 2 places. So if you have too much on the inside, it won't work. Even without it, while a 15 in computer fit nicely, there are mesh pockets in the front, but they you can't use them without the front not fully closing. What's the point? The worst is that after changing the code to a personal one, it didn't take it. The mechanism seemed flimsier than other built-in locks. Save yourself the panic of not getting into your bags since only TSA can reset it. Fortunately, after 30 minutes of trying all the numbers around my personal one, I got it. Immediately went back to my old reliable Eagle Creek -- even if I have to stuff my computer in the middle.

Not for Macbook Pro (M3) 16”
There’s a lot that I like about this case. It’s aesthetically pleasing (for a suitcase), the wheels seem as good as any suitcase, it’s lightweight, the inside (while limited in space, due to retracting hand rail things and the laptop compartment taking up space) is pretty nice and would have been perfectly adequate for about a 5 day stay for me (as someone who tries to be a minimalist), and the design of the locking laptop compartment is great…. other than the fact that it’s not big enough. The webbing that’s intented to hold your laptop in place is narrower than the macbook. It can still fit in the webbing, because it stretches. However, doing this results in it being a bit too high for the compartment door to close fully, because of the space the latching bit needs to close. Not putting the laptop in the webbing (as shown in second photo) results in being able to close the door, barely, but results in the laptop moving around side-to-side, in addition to rubbing on the latch thing inside the door. If you were just using this thing as strictly only a carry-on, and are careful, you might be able to get away with doing this (if you’re not too picky about scratches on your ~$2k devices), but bad things are almost definitely going to happen if you end up having to check your bag and leave the laptop in. This is because there’s a lot of flex to the suitcase (as with most polycarbonate ones, by design) and the laptop will be very nearly right up against the case. There’s a hole cutout, covered with material to allow your laptop to kinda go into the main compartment a bit, so smaller laptops would have more room to avoid taking the full impacts, but not a 16” macbook. If you have a 14” device (16:10 or 16:9), or even a standard 15.6” (16:9) laptop that doesnt have too thick of bezels, you’ll probably be OK, because the laptop will fit in the webbing and in the recessed part of the compartment, so it probably won’t get crushed. Would have definitely been a keeper otherwise!

Works Harder Than Your Coworkers
This is a great suitcase! Tiny but mighty. It packs like a small check baggage but is a carryon. It rolls easily and it’s pretty. The front storage is a bonus. Get the suitcase.

I am satisfied with this purchase.
The luggage arrived 4 days earlier than expected. The carton box in came in was already crumpled when I received it but the luggage inside was unharmed. I am based in the Philippines and so I just glad that the luggage arrived early and without any damage. It is heavier than the more premium Samsonite luggages, but is expected for it's price. It looks durable. The wheels are rolling very smoothly and the handle feels sturdy. There is a little bit of a shake in the handle, but not different from our other luggages. I bought this primarily because of the laptop compartment. The laptop compartment opens very smoothly. My macbook pro 13" fits perfectly but if your laptop is bigger, it may not fit in the pocket anymore. You can still put it in the main laptop compartment anyway. When expanded, it can accommodate a lot more stuff. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Poor service and warranty
Zipper broke off after 3rd use. Reached out to service since it’s less than a year. They made me send all these photos, serial numbers, order info only to tell me that I need to create a service ticket and to send it back at my expense to see if it’s covered. What was the point of all that info if you couldn’t tell me whether my suitcase should be covered under warranty. It’s less than a than a year old.

Minimal inside space
I should have read more reviews before purchasing. The quality is fine, the lack of space inside because of the external compartment for a laptop, etc. really minimizes your packing capacity. I’d rather carry my laptop in a backpack and get more room.

For traveler with airplane
high recommendation especially for those who travel by airplane, you will enjoy having less bag since this will have one for your laptop. One very important reflection whenever you pass by security for example, you will see the great benefit of this bag, once you just open the side door and drag your tab or laptop without any delay nor effort. One further benefit when you are waiting in lounges or anywhere, you will do the same by taking out your devise without opening your bag or having another one you carry all the time. I highly recommend it for frequent traveler.

Muy práctica
Me encanta la compuerta para laptop por facilidad en aeropuertos. Lo único es que si se llena ese lado de la maleta, no se abre bien la compuerta. En cualquier caso, del otro lado cabe mucho.

Great carry-on rolly-bag
Have had this suitcase for a while now. It's been to Mexico a few times and overseas to the UK in 2024. It has passed carry-on size so for short trips no need to check it. Saves time when arriving at destination. Just remember to pack small liquids. I also used packing cubes bought thru Amazon to keep clothing organized inside. (Amazon basics 4-pack) I like the exterior flip-out pocket which is handy to keep travel itinerary/hotel reservations etc.

Inside capacity is smaller than it looks
There is a laptop and a iPad compartment in the front easy access but charges does not fit in. This area makes the inside area smaller than it looks. The suitcase looks big.
