I purchased a Mac-mini to replace my old one, and the new one had an HDMI port, just like the old one. However, when I connected my monitor to it, the monitor would not wake from sleep when I pressed a key on the keyboard. I had to manually power on the monitor each time. This wasn't an issue with my previous Mac-mini. I purchased this adapter hoping that the USB-C connection would have more smarts, since Apple seems to have put all their eggs into the USB-C basket. I connected this to one of the USB-C ports, and the HDMI cable into the other end. Everything "just worked" at that point. All my monitor resolution and preference settings were maintained. The monitor now wakes up from power-save mode when I press a key on the keyboard to wake up the computer. The adapter seems sturdy and well made. Connections are solid. I also ordered a USB-C to Lightning cable from JSAUX, and it also seems high quality at a good price, and is working well for the connection between the new Mac-mini and my iPad and iPhone. They may become my "go to" vendor for these kinds of cables and adapters.

Works pretty good great for watching longer movies and shows without your phone dying. Recommend keeping in a bag as dust will build up inside ports and cause reception issues.

This would be a 5 star across the board but I'm hitting a USB/TB3 issue that keeps it from being a viable option to use. I'm likely to have to return these and try another device. I'm getting a looping error from two different Windows 10 Pro 64bit laptops that reports an error of "USB Device not recognized" then the device does a "port reset" on the USB port #3 and fails with an "Unknown USB Device" and no device driver associated with the port#3. Rinse and repeat with an audible popup windows error dialog every 15 seconds... The frustration is that the HDMI and Audio are coming from the HDMI monitor just fine and are not impacted by the port reset. Power to the device does not seem to be impacted either. I'm guessing some other feature of the "JSAUX 4K UHD" must be erroring out ... behavior does not change with a charger cable in the usb-c power. I cannot figure out how to disable that port or feature in Windows 10 after digging around quite a bit. The device comes with no drivers to install according to the website so no dice there. Want to change to 5 star but cannot find support or help.

However the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019 version) does not have the ability to project using said connections. Only Casting and honestly it streams pretty terribly so you're out of luck using a Galaxy Tab (at least the 2019 version). This wasn't the manufacturers fault because they don't list said device. This is on the search algorithm. I just took the risk when I got to manufacturer site because a couple of reviews mentioned it was possible. Spoiler Alert:. It's not

It works great but the USB-C is very loose where it plugs into your phone. It constantly falls out/loses connection. Would not purchase again.

Der Adapter kommt in einer normalen Verpackung, wobei das Kabel recht stark geknickt ist, was aber bei mir zu keinem Problem geführt hat. Ansonsten ist das Bild qualitativ sehr gut, es gibt keine erkennbaren Artefakte oder Bildrisse, außerdem wird das Bild farbgetreu übertragen. Wichtig zu wissen ist vielleicht noch, dass ich am Anfang einen starken Gelbstich in der Übertragung hatte, was aber auch bei verschiedenen Adaptern anderer Hersteller so war. Die Lösung davon war letztendlich, das Handy einmal neu zu starten.

The product came completely faulty. It was very difficult to insert Type C charging connector into the female port - checked with two different cables. If and when connected it worked intermittently or not charging - checked with 2 different power sources and on with Samsung Tablet and Samsung S24. No signal from item's HDMI port. Used two different HDMI cables and 3 different sources - doesn't work. Forced to return the item back. Otherwise received on time. Good original packaging. Materials used by manufacturer seems to be good. Disappointed. Waste of the time.
