Electromagnetic Power Relay, 8-Pin 10A 110/120 AC Relay Coil with Socket Base, LED Indicator, DPDT 2NO 2NC - MY2NJ [Applicable for DIN Rail System]

I’m really happy with this 8-pin 10A 110VAC electromagnetic power relay. It wired into the provided 8-pin socket/base perfectly and fired right up with 110VAC on the coil. It’s been running reliably, switching my load from a dusk to dawn sensor cleanly with consistent operation and no sticking. The build quality feels solid, the pins are well-aligned, and it’s convenient to have a plug-in style relay for serviceability. Great price for a dependable relay—would buy again.

No issues whatsoever. The diagram is very clear on the relay bases. You can wire these up with the relay installed.

Ordered these for a timer project I was working on. The quality of the parts received appear on par with any industrial ones I have worked with over decades of experience in electronics. Very nice also that the base is lighter colored and so pin numbers are easily readable. The relay has an internal red light that comes on when it is activated. To top off the deal, it comes with a mounting rail, screws, and retainer clips as well and is packed in a reusable clear hard plastic case.. Very competitive deal!

I use this with a smart plug so I can command a high power device on and off using my Amazon Echos. You'll want to get a DIN rail to mount it on, and you'll have to wire it for your purposes, but that's all completely normal for relay mediated control systems. I unreservedly recommend this DPDT relay system.

I was really frustrated with this at first, I struggled to get it working. I ended up sitting down with a multimeter set to continuity and checked all the pathways and found the paths for normally closed, then found the signal energizing wires that would toggle the relay, once I got this mapped out and went back out to install it, it worked like a dream and has been doing great ever since. But without a multimeter, this would have been a very different experience. There are no instructions in the box and the diagram on the relay is all you get. If they had a sample wiring diagram in the box, even on a 2x4 sheet, I would have given it a 5 star.

This 8 pin relay was the perfect solution for my inline duct fan install project. I purchased the 120v 10A relay. For those of us who aren't Master Electricians I have attached pictures explaining my install. After hours of internet research I pieced together exactly what I needed to do for my particular install, as I wanted the inline duct fan to turn on and off whenever my HVAC system was running - rather than having it run all the time or having to operate it by a switch/remote. You should be able to adapt your particular needs using this relay. I ordered the 2 relay kit because it was such a great value. It included 2 relays and the mounting bar needed, plus if my relay ever fails I will have an immediate replacement on hand! I hope this helps my fellow DIY jobbers get their project done. NOTE: for those who need to know what is the amp draw of this coil, I found the manufacturer data spec sheet. This relay coil will draw an average of .028 Amps derived from the Spec Sheet rating of Coil Current of 27.1 milliamps.
