These sponges work fine, but I don’t recommend this color at all! They start to look gross very quickly.

Great product. I was looking for a scratch free version and this was gentle enough for my wood table.

These are perfectly good sponges. The scrubber scrubs, but is gentle, and the sponge is good, and holds up well. I like them. I chose them instead of the blue Scotch rite scrubby sponges I've been using for years, which add plastic into the environment . This Greener Clean" version is marketed being made with plant-based sponges and recycled plastic for the scrubber. On the other hand, they're bright white, which means they might be manufactured using a ton of bleach. Is bleach used in the production of other sponges? No idea. I keep meaning to contact Scothbrite. I will. I try to keep well-informed about green products, but I find I sometimes don't even know the right questions to ask. So many manufacturers make it difficult by misleading you with attributes of a profuct that make you feel good, but that don't really offer a net improvement. To be clear, I'm absolutely NOT saying that's the case here, or that Scotchbrite's done anything wrong. I just have no idea.

I only use these because they are biodegradable. They do not bleed like the blue ones do. I am a cleaner and I use these like paper towels. they dont really absorb any more than any other sponge does so I do follow up with a microfiber or a paper towel. they dont scratch any surfaces either.

The white sponges didn’t last a week. I change sponges every Saturday.

I’ve used this for cleaning tomato paste and ‘well cooked’ meat on pans. The sponges clean to white every time! They do not retain any color of what was just cleaned. A good sponge and good soap! We’ve only had them a couple of months and the non-scratch scrubber has shown no signs of separating from the (cellulose) sponge. White looks good. I’d recommend if you’re looking. I wash it in the dishwasher. Keeps the sponge(s) clean.

Pros: - White color Cons: - Only one side is hard. It would be nice if both sides are hard.
