While it does not allow me to fly through a romantic sky and across the Arabian desert with my beautiful wife and princess, it does provide an excellent footprint for my backpacking tent and also works well as a ground cover for throwing down my bag or gear when sleeping beneath my tarp or in my hammock. I find the green color a litte plain and would have loved if DD would have sewn some mystical gold tassles into each corner. That said, the quality is great, the weight is minimal, and it’s an exceptional piece of gear. For camping and bushcrafting applications, this DD Magic Carpet works great! For helping a street rat vagabond weasel his way into wealth and nobility, don’t get your hopes up.

Es handelt sich um eine rechteckige Plane, die wasserdicht ist und die Vorrichtungen hat, sie an den Ecken zu befestigen, was natürlich viele Verwendungen hat. Sie macht also das gleiche wie eine Plane vom Baumarkt, nur dass sie natürlich einen Bruchteil dessen wiegt, was entscheidend ist, wenn man das Ding tragen muss.

Love this DD Magic Carpet! I bought this for a camping trip which i knew would be a bit wet. In previous years i'd not bothered with a tarp, but now wish i had! It's the perfect size to use as a porch floor in a tent or as a footprint on rougher ground to protect the floor. It packs up nice and small, highly water repellent/resistant and very useful in a number of ways.
