Alot of people complaining about handles not being strong enough. They are fine for getting in and out of pool. Don't know if they will hold up to the grandkids hanging and pulling on them but not sure any resin/plastic steps will hold up to my grandkids. First steps that came with pool lasted 3 years but for my pool and deck I like these better. The steps themselves are great. Easy to assemble. Ordering info said only good up to 250lbs but box they came in said 350lbs. They seem plenty strong. I didn't fill steps with sand as instructions showed because I have to put steps in and out by myself so I thought this would make them too heavy. I did purchase the weight jugs shown in the instructions and they hold the steps down just great and are easy to install and remove by myself. Bought the Hydrotools by swimline 87921 premium step weight system 2 pack which is a different brand but works with aqua select steps. Make sure to get a pool ladder mat to protect your pool liner.

Love the pool stairs we are using them for outside the pool we have endless above ground pool and it is strong and it is weatherproof and it was snap together , shows nails or screws that come with it but we did not use the screws and just snapped together and I used the stairs already it's excellent yes but them they are worth it has railings also great buy

These are great steps as long as you weight them down. I bought 2 sets, one for inside and one for outside. The outside set I weighed down with 4 - 12 inch cement paver stones set on 2x2 beams I set across the frame and it was very sturdy. The inside I had a little more trouble with and ended up using plastic sand bags with about 80 lbs of sand and it worked ok, but could have used more weight. I also connected them together to help stabilize them. A couple of FYI's....the hand rails are not very sturdy and cannot support much weight so don't try leaning on them. And the rise of the steps is a little higher than I thought it would be so if you have mobility issues and can't bend your knees very much, this may be an issue.

Despite very limited instructions, these steps were very easy to assemble and went together quickly. We just put them in the pool recently, so haven’t had a chance to really test them, but they seem very stable. Only issue, as others have stated, is they float and need quite a bit of extra weight to hold them down, Drill extra holes to let water in to help hold them down and definitely purchase step weights. We used 50 lbs of sand to start which was not enough -we had to hold them in place temporarily with another 25 lbs of weight while waiting on another set of step weights to be delivered. However, they look great and are much more stable than the old ladder we had. Giving 4 stars because they should come with stair weights as there is no way these would stay in place without the extra weight.

These are great for my pool. So easy to get in and out with the steps. They float. We ended up ordering the weights. We had to fill the weights with concrete (heavier than cement). I put the mat down to protect the liner. The only problem is cleaning behind the steps. Debris will collect behind it and I have to take the hose to flush out the debris.

The steps are easy to assemble they look great hand rails are a little wobbly but they do work I put 2 together so we can walk in and out of the pool as we are in are 60s wife has a broken shoulder and can get in and out now fantastic

Ladder is good but safety for young children and older adults is a concern. It is not real stable.

Great set of steps. Get the weights, the stairs do float.
