Bays English Muffins Excellent English Muffins! I bought these muffins in Northa Carolina and loved them! I do not have a place in my area where I can buy them so I ordered them directly fom Bays. In the area that I live in we have the brand Thomas and I can not even remotely compare them to Bays. Bays is the ways.......to go!! Hands down, they are softer, tastier, and stay fresher longer. I was most impressed at how soft the muffins were. I also thought it was great that the muffin was not to toasted, so when I toast them they are light if I prefer them that way, unlike the heavily toasted other brands. I received the case within a weeks time, purchased here on Amazon. I froze most of the muffins, but I can't imagine them lasting too long in my freezer because they taste so good! I will definately purchase them again! Also, I received them yesterday Febuary 21st and the date on the muffins is April 10th. That is awesome that they can stay fresh that long in the refrigerated section if I want them to. When I first thought of buying a case it seemed crazy, however, the price is right on target for per each (even with the shipping charge) and I will always have a fresh supply in my freezer since I bought a case.

Used to get Pepperidge farm extra cripy muffins. Something changed in their ingredients or baking process but those are now hard and tasteless and no holes inside. More like a slice of dense bread. Tried Thomas Nooks and Crannies and found those to be very good. They aren't ever sliced all the way thru for some reason but very tasty. Thomas muffins haven't been available lately so tried Bays. New favorite! Larger size, about the same price as Thomas and great flavor and texture. As others have mentioned they don't seem to be cut evenly and you have to watch the thinner side in the toaster so it doesn't burn before the other half is ready. Overall very please and will continue to buy these with Thomas muffins as the back up.

Similar to Thomas’s, too many holes, were delivered to me and were somehow a little moist.

I was surprised to find that Thomas's were barely sliced - required extensive cutting to separate the halves. I tried "Dave's Killer Bread" and they were okay, but all the different grains made them a bit heavy for my taste. These English Muffins taste like good bread, toast well, fully pre-sliced, and have those "nooks and crannies" we all crave. And although Amazon delivered them cold, there was no problem leaving them at room temperature for over a week, per my Covid policy. I JUST WISH I HAD BOUGHT MORE! P.s. the are great for toasting, then dunking in Italian food!

I grew up in Kansas City, MO, so Wolferman's English muffins were for a long time a staple in my home. I've tried a lot of different muffin brands, from cheap store brands (not worth the money) to higher-end commercial brands. NOTHING beats these Bays muffins! They're not fork split -- they're actually sliced, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. They still have plenty of "nooks and crannies" for the melted butter due to the high-quality yeast they use. Pop 'em in the toaster, and you'll get a nice crispy exterior and a chewy and flavorful interior. The flavor is wonderful -- just the right amount of yeastiness, but no "sour" taste. Great for breakfast with butter and a little marmalade or jam, but they also hold up well under heartier accompaniments or in sandwiches. The flavor still comes through. I made room in my refrigerator's freezer for these, even giving up some ice cream room! The sacrifice was worth it.
