Alpine Electronics 13cm 2-Way Coaxial Speakers SXE-1325S

This speaker fits perfectly in the rear parcel shelf of my BMW E39. For a budget-tier option with a working tweeter, the sound quality is surprisingly clear and punchy — a noticeable improvement over the tired OEM units. Build quality does look and feel like it was built with care and not cheap compared to other ones. Functions can be loud if pushed to the max and deliver clear sound with bass and treble. Great value for the price, and installation was hassle-free as my tech did it from the top without damaging any parts. Highly recommended for an affordable audio refresh!

Bought two pairs of these for my '06 Honda CRV as the original paper cone speakers are/were gaaaaarbage. As someone who's done many dozens of installs over the years I have to say that these are actually pretty good speakers for what they are. Decent volume, no distortion - unless really abusing the volume & bass settings and actually have pretty good range. Obviously bass is going to be limited on a 5" speaker but does manage fairly well with a few tweaks on the equaliser settings on the head unit. My only criticism is that they do seem to be balanced more towards the higher range, would be good to have a bit more mid-range out of them. I should also note that I installed acoustic deadening in my door when I installed these speakers - its a simple thing to do that will make a huge improvement to any system. Honestly, for the money though they punch well above their weight in my opinion as long as you understand the following: Ideally a head unit upgrade or amplifier is required when upgrading speakers as most car stereos are rubbish. Also, these are 5" speakers... Budget 5" speakers... It is unreasonable to expect them to be amazing and will absolutely not win any volume and/or bass competitions. If you want to get the best out of them install sound deadening in your door panel and get a subwoofer. These speakers will be more than adequate in most normal situations.

I had to modify my van's original speaker plug to make these work as I didn't want to cut the feed plugs off but I had no issues fitting no need to over tighten so didn't have a problem with the plastic lugs breaking sound is much better than the vans originals (far smoother) Not the most bass but if you look at all the available speakers and realise its only a small driver you will never get booming bass from any driver at this size. So I deduct 1 star just for that reason but I am being harsh defo worth spending money watch a video on how to get the door panels off first though

Really nice for the money, fit perfectly and are a huge upgrade on the OE speakers.

Bought to replace front OEM speakers in my W639 Vito as the price seemed reasonable. Standalone with extra subwoofer acceptable sound, good mids and trebles (for the money) but that pretty much ends there, on their own they have really poor bass and overall don't see how they could perform well.

Fitted almost straight into the door of a mk2 twingo, cheap little upgrade

Cannot argue with these for the price. Bought these and some adapter rings to go in my 1998 Audi A4 Avant. Perfect! 31/10/2019 EDIT: The right hand speaker is intermittent and crackles. Sounds like it's blown but the left one is fine 21/02/2020

Replaced all my door speakers with these sounded rubbish with car factory stereo but once I put an Alpine headunit in what a difference!!! all i need now is an underseat sub to finish off the low bass. Would recommend these if changing the headunit. My car is a clio sport 182 hope this helps peeps

wenn jemand wenig mit KFZ (Fiat 199 Bj. 2006) zu tun hat und wie ich die Lautsprecher beim Dreitürer hinten bei den Rücksitzbänken einbauen möchte, sollte sich Zeit nehmen. Man muß die hintere Sitzbank komplett ausbauen welches sich bei meinem Fahrzeug, wegen verhuddelter Schrauben, als etwas schwieriger herausstellte. Zudem gibt es keine Ausbauanleitung im Netz. Das Fahrzeug ist mit dem Serienradio ausgestattet, die Serienlautsprecher haben im Original keinen Hochtöner, wie dieser. Verträgt sich aber ganz gut... Da der Fiat mit einem aktiven Fiat Subwofer (im Kofferraum) ausgerüstet ist ist der Bass ausreichend bis gut. Ohne den Subwofer, schätze ich, müßte man etwas den anderen 4 LAutsprechern helfen um gut zu werden.

Fitted in an old volvo. Good full sound. Easy installation with screws and mounts provided. Unfortunately the screws were a bit long so I had to go buy shorter screws.
