This is amazing! I was kinda worried because of the price but it is so nice, so don’t let the price fool you it’s a great value. It works beautifully and looks good too. It’s durable and moves back and forth easily. Very light weight and easy to install the little knobs on the bottom.

This item is functions exactly as needed. The design fits my coffee makers perfectly. As well as aesthetically pleasing, it’s mobile. It can move easily back and forth , side to side (unlike the old version that could only move back and forth). I like it so much I purchased 2. Gets a 10 from me.

This thing will save my counter top and my shoulders. The large fit under my 6-qt professional bowl lift model mixer perfectly, and now I can easily slide my mixer out of the corner to use and slide it back when I'm finished. I made bread dough with the dough hook, and did not have any trouble with the sliding plate scooting around on the counter. The adhesive slide buttons attach to the bottom easily. The color is nice. It is stained, but not sealed/finished, so it does have a matte look and is rather porous. I highly recommend applying some butcher's block wax or mineral oil to help seal and protect the wood, especially with it being used in a kitchen. Doing so will make cleaning it easier and will provide some protection if it comes in contact with liquids. I keep butcher's block wax on hand, so it was an easy fix for me. Applied generously, let sit for about 15 minutes, and buffed off any excess wax that was not absorbed. Just make sure you apply the adhesive slider buttons before you wax the wood plate otherwise they may not stick.

Got tired of lifting my KitchenAid to clean underneath—this mat is a game changer! Now I can easily slide it around to clean around and behind it 100% recommend.

This really slids. I took one look when I opened the package and the pieces you stick on the bottom of the wood and I was doubtful they would slide but they do!

Seems beautiful and I guess it’s painted wood.the wood is not heavy,and this point I didn’t like.not waxed as well.so waxed it by myself.will see how many time it will last,because solid it’s not,just beautiful.

While our KitchenAid tilt-head mixer is great to use -- at over 20 pounds, it can be a challenge to move around the countertop. This wood base perfectly fits the machine and allows it to be easily slid from place to place. We have not had this accessory long enough to determine if it will allow the mixer to creep while mixing a heavy dough -- but sliding the mixer to a place where it's easier to temporarily lift it off the base makes sense. For most mixing jobs, the stand mixer will remain on this wood base. I would add that the base is also visually attractive -- but it fits the unit so well that it's barely visible.

Makes cleaning around the kitchen aid so simple I can do it multiple times daily.
