Knives sharpen quickly.
So good so far, all kitchen knives sharpened quickly. The base of the sharpener should be soft rubber, not hard, as it slips at angle when using on worktop to sharpen knives. Always wash an clean sharpener after r use.

Every kitchen should have one
Took a while to get the technique right, but this is fabulous. Has sharpened knives that I thought were past their useful life. Would highly recommend. Also recommend looking up videos on how to use these types of sharpeners.

Seems rather cheaply made.
I was surprised to find that the base metal appears to be aluminium, rather than steel. So it remains to be seen how long such a relatively softer metal will retain the diamond grit. I may be wrong, but I have a certain sense of foreboding...
