Review: Great price for a great product - I built this battery box to power my garden fountain when my solar panel is not seeing sun light. I purchased a relay on desertcart that switches seamlessly between solar and battery. I installed a charging port with an LED. I wanted the LED to turn off not just when I unplugged the charger but when the charger entered the float mode. It took some time to properly program the relay with the correct settings and I am pleased to say that the relay works perfectly. As advertised this relay can work both for charging or discharging but you have to chose one or the other it can't do both at the same time. Now as I said the LED comes on when my battery is charging and goes off when my battery is fully charged. This is a well priced for such a perfect relay. I definitely recommend it for any DIY project.

Great little gadget. I have built some battery packs from scratch and I used them to ensure the voltage is never below a certain threshold. To me it adds a layer of protection so you arent purely relying on your BMS, if your even using one! I think I have like 3 of these. Handy! I really wish they made a HIGH voltage disconnect.
