FOAMYFOAM High Density 4 inch Thick, 24 inch Wide, 24 inch Long Upholstery Foam, Cushion Replacement

I replaced old crumbly foam with this in a couple antique chairs. The foam was 24 inch square and 4 inches thick as described. It is pretty firm as well. I used a hot foam cutting knife to cut the shape I needed. Wrapped them in an upholstery cotton and was ready to stuff them in. I realized I wasn't getting them in so I also had to use a thin plastic "upholstery silk" to get the new cut foam into the the fabric coverings by wrapping them and using a vacuum to suck the air out of them to make them smaller. They now feel like brand new chairs.

Bought several sets of this foam from this supplier. Was able to totally transform my 52 year old super high quality clean and unworn couch and chairs that had softened too much over the years, to ones that are now comfortable and have lots of life left in them so that I can use them in an apartment when I downsize and not have to buy something new. I had the empty covers ready and quickly inserted the foam into the seat covers before they fully expanded to make it easier to insert them, and they expanded to fill the covers overnight. It was a really inexpensive project. Was looking for firm and these were perfect for me.

Dense, supportive, and actually holds its shape. Used it for a DIY project and it did exactly what I needed without collapsing like cheap foam usually does. Solid quality and worth the price.

these cushions replace the inserts from 2 yrs ago. previous was like foam rubber, these are sturdy stiff but comfortable, your butt doesn't go all the way down to the bottom

Replaced thin, cheap foam on my patio cushions. Made a big difference. They come rolled up and wrapped tight but opened and straightened without a problem. The firmness is much better than what came with the sofa.

If you’re looking for g for high density foam this is it. It was almost to dense for what I needed

I purchased this because I bought this company's six inch foam cushion and was very happy with it. I don't know what happened because this one isn't quite as dense, but still more dense than most. However my biggest complaint is the off-gassing. The thicker one I bought didn't have this problem, but this one is AWFUL and dangerous. I can't even keep it in the house because it smells so bad. It was giving me a migraine and making me dizzy! Even airing it out outside for 2 days didn't help. If anything it made it worse!
