Dakota Digital Clip Watch with Compass & Dual Time

I had been DIY’ng my watched to fit on slips I got for my belt for my watch, but they hung down pretty low and I was not comfortable with something swinging around like that. (For my front belt loop). I’m an EMT intern and initially wanted an analog watch, but on the fly it is difficult to see in the back of the ambulance and admittedly the second hands on my watch were small and hard to read quickly. BUT….! I did alot of research and got this Dakota Digi Clip watch (it came in today) and I am so glad I did! It has a stop watch that I can use for RR and HR on a patient, it DOES have a backlight, the number are big but not annoying. I wish I had gotten this sooner instead of trying to do it myself (I cut up a lot of nylon watch straps lol!) 🤦🏻‍♀️ I can wear this everyday (my style is more casual as a woman who is pretty active) so it’s perfect for me. Plus, I don’t have to worry about having a watch to snag on gloves or worry about getting bodily fluids all over it, it’s out of the way but right there! ***I also set it to military time to show you that it had that option).

Easy to use. I hook it to my lanyard. Feels more durable that a wristwatch.

Purchased Silver finish Pros -Sleek looking -Feels solid -Features are easy to use -Easy to read dial -Somewhat pricy Cons -Compass is not accurate. Shaking it can sometimes align it with accuracy but even comparing to another compass, it's clearly inaccurate and therefore unreliable. I'd rather not have the feature if it's not properly calibrated or functional. -Light only stays on for 2 or 3 seconds.

I don't know why all the hate on this. Mine's nice. No problems.

The watch is pretty nice, heavy and sturdy, keeps good time, fairly easy to use. But... the reason I knocked off two stars is that there is apparently no way to turn off the key beep for the Mode button. The users manual doesn't contain anything about it, and repeated emails to the company indicated they are pretty clueless about it too. the mode button beeps every time it's pressed, even with all the other chimes and alarms shut off. This can be a real problem in some scenarios where absolute silence is important.

After reading the reviews for this watch, I was very reticent to make the purchase. I feared the glass would be scratched and cracked day one, or worse, it would be dead-on-arrival. But, I grew frustrated with my wristwatches, having to take them on and off to wash my hands. So, I took the plunge, bought it, and don't regret it. After a month, the glass in intact, though I must confess that, for weeks, I left the plastic adhesive cover that usually comes with watches on the glass for a sense of security. Sure, it would come off and on, until it finally came off and disappeared. And, after some time, the watch took some bumps and flops while hanging on the belt loop of my pants, but is still undamaged. It's far less intrusive than a wrist watch for everyday use, it reads well, keeps accurate time, can be backlit at night for a brief time with the press of a button, and feels really cool. Lightweight too, I like the feel. As for the compass, I can't speak much on it's accuracy, but looks pretty unreliable (not why I bought it though, so irrelevant to me). Also, it was very easy to set-up; I had no issues.

This is a very practical clip watch It features a large digital screen, date, time, stopwatch, and alarm. Nice size and easy to read. Good price.

I'd love to give this five stars, it is such a handy little watch! I wanted the countdown timer, because I'm a teacher and like to time little activities. Sure, I can use my cell-phone for this, but this slips handily on my belt-loop, the time stays visible on ALL screens, and it has a nice weight to it that makes it fun to fiddle with. The other features are great as well. Definitely a good purchase, and I MAY buy it again if it lasts long enough, however the buttons are sticky, and sometimes they just don't work! This makes the stopwatch feature problematic. I'll update later, and if the buttons die altogether, I'm going to downgrade the purchase to three stars, provided it lasts long enough to get my money's worth. This devise has so many great features, and I'd even give it 5 stars if it were $10.00 cheaper despite this, but for almost $20.00 for what is essentially a digital watch, I would expect the buttons to be dependable and work. UPDATE: Just a couple weeks later, and the buttons don't work at all. It's stuck. I was able to eventually get it back to the home screen, but the other functions basically don't exist anymore because the buttons don't work anymore. Too bad, such a great idea, but the makers make the buttons flawed and poorly. I'll never buy another product from this company again.

I bought 2 watches that kinda looks like this watch at walmart but this watch is a higher quality

Die Lieferzeit war natürlich länger, aber das Produkt kommt ja aus den USA! Eine sehr schöne multifunktionale digitale Taschenuhr in einem klassischen Design. Genau die richtige Größe: nicht zu groß und passt gut in die Westentasche; nicht zu klein - die Zeit ist problemlos ablesbar. Ein echter Hingucker (eyecatcher).
