I was honestly surprised by how well this worked. I get occasional cold sores and they always make me feel self-conscious, especially when I need to go out or record content. This product helped in two ways. First, it actually soothed the area, so my lips didn’t feel as irritated. Second, the coverage is really good. It blends nicely with my skin tone and makes the cold sore much less noticeable without looking cakey. I like that it’s a treatment and concealer at the same time, so I can cover it while still helping it heal. The texture is creamy and easy to apply, and a little goes a long way. For anyone who deals with cold sores and still wants to feel confident going out, this is definitely something worth trying.

Didn’t expect to love this, but the Coverology Cold Sore Treatment works so well. I used it at the first tingle and it helped calm it down fast while creating a protective layer so it looked way less noticeable. Super easy, not drying, and made me feel way more confident while it healed. Definitely a must-have.

Disclaimer, this is the concealer I use for active pimples and blemishes that I don’t want to put straight makeup on. Super high coverage and pretty long lasting for something that is a treatment on active blemishes. Doesn’t feel too drying, but I do usually put a light moisturizer on beforehand. Neutral in terms of warm/cool tone, but probably will only work on olive skin tones and lighter. Hopefully they can diversify a bit, because this stuff is awesome.

It covers well, it is oily and a bit on the heavy side. It was slightly orange but blendable. I was able to make it work and it helped in the healing process

I bought this product because I needed something to help conceal a cold sore without it being too noticeable, and honestly, I was surprised. The texture is smooth and easy to apply; it doesn't feel heavy on the lips. The coverage is quite good; it helps hide the redness and makes it look much more discreet. Plus, it doesn't dry out my lips as much as other products I've tried. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Do not waste your money! I have suffered from cold sores since I was a teenager. Stress, sun, illness! Always looking for a new way to cover them up when I can’t catch before they break out. Thought I would give this a try and a total waste of money! It burns- not soothing by any stretch! Cakey and doesn’t cover anything! What a total waste of money!

I don't usually write reviews, but I am really impressed with this stuff. I started getting cold sores a few years back, and I've been looking for a way to treat them and conceal them with not a ton of success. I ordered this product as soon as I started noticing my cold sore coming up, and by the time it arrived the cold sore was a) huge and b) had turned from a puffy blister to a giant red open wound that was super wet and oozy right in the middle. It was so unsightly I didn't want to leave the house, but I after I washed my face and gently dried the area around the cold sore I patted on some of this concealer in a thin layer. I was instantly surprised at how well it was covering, and the camphor felt kind of good and soothing on it. It isn't perfect--anyone really close to my face will be able to tell that I am trying to cover some sort of blemish, but it feels like it's creating a kind of barrier around the sore that stopped it from looking "wet", and even felt like it helped to dry it out. By the afternoon I had to reapply a little bit, and it had started looking kind of cakey. Tomorrow I'm going to bring some micellar water and I notice that it starts to look cakey, or if I have to reapply it I'll take the old layer off with the micellar water and reapply a completely fresh coat.

I have had cold sores all my life and this is the first product that allows me to feel comfortable going out in public. It is the best cover-up that I have used and I have tried everything. I have also found that it helps the cold sore dry up and heal faster. I go to a dermatologist and in addition, have a prescription for an anti-viral when I feel the first signs of a cold sore. I would like to try red light therapy at some point. I always bring this product with me when I go on trips/vacations. This product is an absolute MUST!!!
