Was so excited about these as I am a cook and working hard on getting into catering. When these knives arrived , the case was bent and dented. I let that go. I opened them the other day and tried to use the chef's knife and it was so dull it wouldn't cut air. Shop around. **Q: What kind of warranty is on the knives** A: They should have a lifetime warranty and so should the case. The Latch on the case was broken and the manufacturer would not honor that replacement. We have been using these knives and the Steak Knife Set for 20 years and they are the best. **Q: Hi need to buy this as a gift for my fiancΓ© does the set of knife come with the suitcase?** A: Yes the set comes as pictured with the hard case **Q: It says that the knives are german. so why did the box they came in say made in china??** A: My husband said the knives are German and made in Germany, the case is from China...but he promises if you order this set you will not be disappointed. A cook. I was really impressed. Its crazy heavy. Like i couldnt even belive how heavy. The blades were well made and the knives were sharp. It was an impressive gift.
