A must buy if you're an avid solo traveler, travel with someone who's partially deaf who wouldnt be able to hear if someone was keying in or live in a housing complex where landlords and maintenance workers enjoy entering unannounced. It's super loud even on the M setting yet it's not that sensitive where it goes off if moved even a centimeter from side to side. Turn it on once you and everyone in your room is in for the night and wedge it up under the door, as it will warn you if an uninvited person is attempting to enter. I love that two are provided because it also came in handy when we had a room that had an adjoining door to the next room and though they tried to reassure me the other room didn't have a similar door to attempt to come to our side, having the 2nd alarm gave me a peace of mind when I put it at the base of that door as well as the main hotel room door. I haven't used the door clip yet but when I did tinker with it initially, I can attest that it also seems sturdy!

My daughter just moved into an apartment and we wanted some added security for her. The door stop is very easy to use, volume is definitely loud enough and it also stopped the door from being able to be opened. Perfect! Then I put the portable lock onto the door. (I admit I did need to watch the video to do it correctly - it is hard to show exactly what you need to do using just pictures.) It was also easy to put on and definitely effective! The door is very secure and it could not be opened from inside or outside. I didn't add a video because the video included on the product page shows how to install/use both of them and how well they work.

I recently purchased the Door Stop Alarm and was impressed with its effectiveness. The alarm is loud and definitely serves its purpose of alerting me if someone tries to enter my room. However, one downside is that the product did not come with batteries, so I had to purchase those separately.I was disappointed to find out that it couldn't be used on my cruise cabin's door due to the door design. However, I do think that for doors with a more standard shape, the Travel Door Stopper Door would be a useful and effective tool for added security and peace of mind.

Took with us to Europe and this helped me sleep a little better knowing I would have an early warning should anyone try to enter the room while we slept. I used the door stop alarm. The alarm portion worked great but the door stop did not always work as a door stop, not that you really need it to. The issue is the varying height of doors. Some worked great for slipping the tip of the device just under the door and others you had to place next tot he door. Either way will set the alarm off, but it may not necessarily provide a stop for the door.

Bought these for a friend who's house had an attempted break in. She says they work and she feels much safer in her home. They will wake you up and give you time to protect yourself. Hopefully the siren would scare off anyone breaking in.

I travel a lot and whether it’s a hotel or air bnb I always want to be safe. It doesn’t include the battery BUT when you put the battery in IT WORKS. You can choose the sensitivity of the motion on the door stop. This this is LOUD!!! No one will sleep through this going off.

First time I tested it, it was a seriously loud alarm, the next time, on my first trip with it it, it was super quiet, I don’t think if would even wake me up (and I’m a light sleeper). I travel with the battery out so it’s not that. I kept using it because I figured it was better than nothing, and after using it about 5x if it’s on the high setting it goes off constantly, so can no longer use it.Definitely can’t recommend this, nor would I buy it again.

I would have given it a 5 star, but it just wasn’t that loud….i was expecting it to be very loud, even on the loudest setting, it wasn’t loud enough for me….

I bought the floor alarms so that when my partner is away, I know that nobody can get in without stting off the alarm. It is VERY loud and shrill-a perfect deterant. The door locks are great for hotel rooms when you are in your room. Piece of mind that no one can get into your room.

It not a door stopper but does it job when set up properly. The alarm is super loud and sensitive when the door is opened. Make sure to remove the battery during transportation in case the switch is turned on by accident. Cant sneak by than thing. The only negative i can say is than the pad under the alarm could use a better grip when placed on a hard surface.
