Possibly the best head magnifier for miniature painting
I've tried a lot of magnifiers. Table mounted, those weird dual monocle kinds, big bulky magnifiers that you'd find in a science class from a high school in the 70's, those "light weight" kinds that look like regular glasses but with super thick frames, clip-on, etc etc. They all pale when compared to this kind. The adjustable lens which gives varying eye relief is a must. Being able to hold your miniature at a various distances that isn't smack up against your nose in one very specific spot is mandatory and it also doesn't give you motion sickness. Let's be honest, there are dozens on top of dozens of brands that all sell this style of magnifier but here's why I picked this particular brand... Rechargeable battery. This isn't why you think! The LED light is a small bonus. If you have a decent light, you won't need the built in LED. It's sometimes helpful if a part if cast in shadow but 99% of the time you can fix that with the correct angle of your lamp. No, the reason this is number 1 is because the rechargeable battery weighs A LOT less than 3 AAA or AA batteries. With much less weight up front, the headset doesn't fall down your nose when you look down, which is almost always, which means you're *constantly* pushing them back up your nose. Not with this brand. The "arms" hug your head and they stay put, wherever you need them to stay. It comes with nose pads but I tried them and they just slide off. I also don't like using the strap accessory as I like to be able to take the headset off instantly and put it back on one handed if need be. So having a magnifier that isn't "top heavy" is a god-send. Number 2 is this brand has this cool little feature designed into the nose pad. They look like a normal set but they also have this small bridge built in, connecting both sides. The point of this, for my experience at least, is it lets the magnifier rest on the tip of your nose, like bifocals. This is the optimal place for a head magnifier to both magnify the miniature but also not eat up your "normal" vision which you need to search out bottles of paint colors. There's full range of vision around the lens where your sight is totally normal but as soon as you look at the miniature in front of you, it magnifies it perfectly. Well, *near* perfectly... the only thing that could make this set better is to finally get x5 lenses with them! I know they exist, I have some from another headset but the connection tabs are all wrong so I can't interchange them, but for some reason *no company* makes this particular headset AND x5 lenses. It's not a big deal but it would be nice. The only negative I had with this headset is that I got two left "arms". If I didn't have a beat up older one which I could take a right sided arm from (the right & left arms are shaped to those particular sides) I'd be forced to use the strap, which I really don't like. This issue obviously occurred where they were manufactured as the box is shrink wrapped so look out for that. I didn't knock off a star for this as I was able to quickly solve the problem but it could be an issue for others. I've wasted my money trying almost all of the different kinds of magnifiers but this is the style I always come back to and this brand currently sits at the top of my list. Don't waste your money as well! Buy this and you'll be set.

Great product
These are great for seeing close up. There are several different magnification lenses to choose from. The light on it illuminates the object you are trying to see. They hold a charge for a long time. They fit perfectly with a choice of wearing them like glasses or a headband. They can get a tad heavy after a while but it's not bad for being able to see. I've ordered two more for friends who have trouble seeing.

They work wonderful for painting by numbers and diamond dots especially at night or in low lights
Works well, love the different lens to choose from.

Sight saver
Does everything as the description says. The magnifying lenses are so helpful and I've felt my eyes relax because they're not straining to see details. The light is great too, really illuminates the work. So easy to adjust the angle with just one hand to work on a precise area. I do diamond art and these glasses have made my favorite hobby so much more enjoyable!

Don’t be impatient using this product
I decided to get something like this to use to alternate with my usual Optivisor. Those are heavy and usually ends up creating a terrible headache so I thought this would be a lot lighter to alleviate the headaches. Yes. Significantly lighter. And still able to continue with the same projects. I first started with the headband but created a worrisome problem. The nose piece is NOT removable or adjustable so every time I put it on the nose piece would almost remove my eye in the process. Literally. So I replaced it with the glasses arms and fixed the major issue. And made it an awful lot more comfortable. If lens seemed weird I could just readjust the glasses. All of the lenses are good quality. Equal to the lenses in my Optivisor that I pay$25 each for. Secure in the holder just fine. Maybe people with problems are just impatient with installing or replacing lenses or parts. The maximum magnification is excellent and if I went back to mounting gemstones, I would probably feel good using it

Awesome for easing eye strain for up close work
I purchased these because I do alot of up close needlework/ beadwork/ jewelry making/ restoration work. I had tried reading glasses but they were not much help regardless of the power. I have tried magnification lamps but often ran into issues because the visual field was to small and to finicky to be much use especially when the frustration kicked in. Working with tiny beads (roughly a mm most of the time) and doing fine needlework often times with colors only differing by 1 shade value, if that, cause serious eye fatigue and greatly limited the time I could work on projects. I had heard mixed reviews of this type of set up, with the primary complaint being the weight (causing migraines or neck strain in addition to not helping the eye strain), being unable to adjust the angle, lack of sufficient light, or simply not strong enough. A fee other complaints I have heard regarding other set ups would be causing pain from pressure on ears or the temples. These are light, fully adjustable and well balanced. I am able to adjust them so I don't have to look down the whole time, they don't cause me further neck strain or migraines, I don't feel like my face is. Being pulled forward by the weight and the multiple lense options allow me to change the magnification going either really strong where I can see a flea on a dog's ass from across the room to just being able to make things slightly larger similar to the difference between a normal and.large print book... Overall these are a good buy and nice. I really like that the charge lasts for a long time. I am not sure if I can use them while charging, I will assume not due to the location of the charging port and the way I typically adjust them to work, but overall good value for the money and totally worth it. Should the company wonder about improvements. I would improve on the lighting with either more bulbs in the one area or perhaps consider adding additional lights on the tenples as well.

I could not be happier. I have lost so much of my vision I thought I had to give up all my favourite things, reading, arts and crafts. I say these whilst searching for a magnifier. This headset is incredible and if you give it a bit of time you do forget your wearing it. The 5 different lenses help you get the correct magnification you need. The led light is bright. There is also the option to wear it as you would a pair of glasses, I won’t be doing this, as my glasses are heavy enough and the band around the head is fully adjustable. I thought I’d lost a significant part of me when I was registered severely sight impaired, but this has brought me so much joy, as I can now enjoy my art again.

Für diesen Preis unschlagbar. Materialqualität und die Ausstattung mit verschiedenen Linsen ist top. Nicht zu schwer, statt Lesebrille zu tragen. Licht in zwei Helligkeitsstufen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
