17 mm Thread Lens Adapter, Telephoto Lens Phone Mount Sturdy and Wear-Resistant, Lens Holder Suitable for All Lens&Telephoto Lens with 17mm Thread, Works with Almost All Smartphones

Bought this for 17mm threaded anamorphic lens for my iPhone . Once set up it works great using with the filmic pro app. However , you don’t need an app for operation, this is just personal preference. The only issue I have is the placement of the cage when using . I’m using with the iPhone 11 so the cage sits halfway off the end of the phone when using . It’s still very secure but if the overhang bothers you then I get something else if you have an iPhone 11.

I'd give this a 4 in quality and a 3 in usefulness. If you can't find a phone case with 17mm threads, then this could work. I say "could" because I tried to use this with my aging S22 ultra. It's old enough that Neewer or Ulanzi doesn't make a proper case for it. I had a Neewer 85mm lens I tried to pair with this. The adapter would cover up the volume and power button, which would either take a screenshot or try to power down my phone. There just really wasn't a way around this. While you could slide the part where the lens attaches to get to your lens you wanted to use, the 85m lens was just too heavy. The clamp was really strong, but just made it really difficult to put on or take off. Plus the slipping from the sheer weight of the heavy 85mm lens. So in all, I just don't want to use it because it's not a sturdy fit to my case like a dedicated case would where you can just screw on the heavy lens and take it off with far more ease.

1. Fits any phone ! 2. Was searching for a modular frame that'll provide a lens mount for any mobile. 3. Other lens providers exclusively sell phone cases meant for only some phones at absurdly high prices. Once you damage those questionable quality phones cases guess what buy from them again ! 4. This came in handy ! This should be the norm but alas !

I really like my 60x telephoto lens from this company. The tripod and connector pieces seem a little low-end, but they do the job. Everything was well worth the money, and I'm quite happy with some of the pictures I've been able to get. I was disappointed when I broke the adapter piece and was very impressed with the customer service in helping me to get a replacement. I'm looking forward to getting some more quality pictures!

I have the largest iPhone 15. It is a little too big for this adapter. If I work with it I can get it to work pretty well.

Works much better than the mount supplied with my 20x-40x lens. Grippers hold reasonably well with little sliding, and allow me to put it on over my phone's protective cover. Easier to center over the camera lens. It would benefit from the addition of an adjustable stop at right angles to the grippers so it could be mounted on the phone more quickly and consistently.

I didn’t like how it interfered with side buttons. I have to be very careful with the set up because I have set off the SOS function a few times already just the first week.
