My husband prefers the Kids version, which comes as a cream. It’s gentle, fragrance-free, and ideal for sensitive areas like the face—especially for little ones or anyone dealing with scratched-open bites. The regular liquid formula has a strong ammonia smell and can sting a bit if the skin is broken, so we reserve the cream for delicate spots. Personally, I’m loyal to the liquid formula for everywhere but my face. It’s fast-acting and incredibly effective. Within 2 minutes, the itch is gone. By 15 minutes, the swelling is noticeably reduced (see photo of my wrist with a fresh bite). At 20 minutes, the redness fades and the bite is barely visible. By 30 minutes, it’s like it never happened. This product has saved me countless nights of discomfort and days of irritation. I used to make an “x” with my finger nails on mosquito bites years ago and now someone has taken my idea a step further! Ammonia is listed in the “other ingredients” and that’s a good thing. The company was forced by the FDA to remove it from the “active ingredient” list but it works great on bites. So you get a bigger bang for your buck now. All the ingredients that take away the itch, and an applicator with a raised plastic “x” shape to push into the bite which really works. I thought I came up with that idea alone but i wasn’t alone. What a surprise! No more finger nail impressions! This product really works. Highly recommended!

Down in Texas we have a lot of misquitos, spiders and fire ants. This works on all these bites and really helps with the iching. Its one of the few things that will work on a fire ant bite.

The roller ball applicator much better. Too hard to have to continue squeezing. Would return if I did not need it.

Been using this for decades. The liquid seems to be more effective than the gel. Only thing that'll have mosquito bites gone. The sooner you apply, the sooner they're gone- just a few minutes. May have to apply again after a couple minutes if it's a big bite.

I've used this a couple of times now, first time didn't seem to help too much. Next time it did. I have used it on some bites my daughter has on her neck, and she asked for it be applied again the next day, so it must have helped her as well. I do not like how it feels when applying/rubbing the stick on to release the fluid. It is pretty watery, and does have an odor until it dries, which is just a few minutes. I found releasing it on my finger first, or on one central spot on the body and then applying it elsewhere with my fingers a bit easier. It does sting at first if you've been itching and have an open wound of any sort.
