Review: Unlike the others... - 100% unpaid, unsolicited review for the Pro version, specifically. This device is such a great product for breathing new life into an old car it's insane - and it's seamless once it's all setup. THE MOST IMPORTANT feature for me was the Bluetooth audio transmission, and I feel like not many people are aware of how great this feature is. Unlike the other similar devices out there, this Carpuride W901 Pro model lets you stream BT audio direct to your car's speakers rather than using FM or aux jacks, all while still paired via Android Auto/Carplay. No other device I've tried does this. I really appreciate that the Carpuride folks thought of this and offered it in a well made design. On top of that, their customer support is equally as stellar. I reached out to them for a custom boot logo, and they turned the software update around for me almost immediately. I've been running this setup in my car for a few weeks now and I have zero complaints. I even added the backup camera and steering wheel controls - all of which also work flawlessly and took seconds to hook up. Attached few pics of the setup, but they don't do it justice. Note: I didn't use the supplied mounts, so I can't comment on their functionality.
Review: You got what you paid for, but you might want to ask if you should invest more - Pros: comparably cheaper, large screen, compatible with multiple methods of connection, support carplay and android auto Cons: screen resolution is way below the same price you can get than the average $200 tablet, I don't know if this is the norm but at least I'm not satisfied with this. The polarization of the screen was 90 degrees off so even if you have the anti-glare film on, it is still pitch black if you look at the screen horizontal-wise, I think they used a really low-quality tablet screen that is not designed for car use. But I mean based on the price I can't complain much. bluetooth connection to the device is perfect, FM connection is also pretty high quality. But Bluetooth relay to the car is really a hassle, it connects and disconnect every once in a while. Again, this I think is because they chose a not-so-good Bluetooth chip or the program is not robust enough, I used aux to bypass this issue, another $10 for the walkaround. So all in all, it is a device that is cheap enough for the budget-sensitive mission but if you have the extra money to spend I think it is worth the time to do more research and skip this one

100% unpaid, unsolicited review for the Pro version, specifically. This device is such a great product for breathing new life into an old car it's insane - and it's seamless once it's all setup. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great CarPlay solution

I just got a new used 2016 Subaru Forester, which I love, and was going to install a replacement radio (did it before on other cars) but youtube videos showed that it involved too much teardown of the dashboard. So I did an internet search and in Car & Driver’s review of the top 5 CarPlay devices this one came up as #1. I was surprised because it’s an external unit and I was skeptical. But I bought it and it works great…after some tweaking, a software update, and some tech support. But the tech support was AMAZING - responses came within a day and they worked. So now I can listen to music, podcasts, text, and make phone calls. You may need to make contact with the folks at Carpuride to get the software update but once you do you’ll be able to connect with both the smartphone and the car’s Bluetooth and it works pretty seamlessly. I am very happy with this product and it looks great. An excellent solution without pulling everything apart or spending $1000 to have it done by a car stereo shop. I don’t like the power cable being as visible as it is but that’s a small price to pay for a bright 9” screen and excellent connectivity.
