The Titan's Bride: Uncut Edition [Blu-ray]

Titans bride is my favorite BL yaoi manga! I love that it was made into an anime and I can own it on dvd! I just wish the episodes were longer and that there was another season. Other than that I love it! Highly recommend for BL lovers!

I didn't know anything about this until I bought and watched half of the episodes. Yes, it is certainly for a more mature audience. However, the love scenes go by quickly. It is stimulating, but not the same as watching an adult film. What bothered me the most was the shortness of each segment/ episode. It would have approximately 5 minutes of storytelling, and a few seconds of a love scene (nothing too graphic was ever shown), and then credits would role, and then onto the next segment/ episode. This is one of the reasons I gave it three stars. Also, I only watched half way through, not because it was too much, but because there really is not an engaging story. Yes, it was cute at times, for what I was willing to sit through, but nothing really engaging. I feel like they should have either made a full on love movie, or at least make the story more engaging- don't have to do both but can do at least one. I lost interest when the Titan's ex-wife was brought in. It was implied that there might be a rivalry between the new bride (young male student), and herself, but within a few minutes it was over. This is when I stopped watching. As I mentioned before, I have no real knowledge of this Yaoi, for those who are aware of it, it may be just what you are looking for. However, for a person who wants a little more loving moments, it does not deliver (at least not as far as what I was willing to watch). If you want something a little arousing, and at times cute, then this is for you. However, if you want something more hardcore, and or story telling then no, it is not worth the money. I probably will watch this again at sometime in my life, but not at this moment.

I'm a huge fan of the comics. So I was very disappointed with this anime.Not only was it poorly made, but each episode was extremely short. For the price that I paid, I would have thought that all four of the original comics would be part of it. It encompassed less than what I thought. I'm extremely disappointed and felt that they were extremely censored even though I bought the uncut version. Don't buy this

Interesting manga

I originally was reading the story online and when I discovered the manga books began buying those. I once saw you could “watch” the anime on Amazon but it said no longer available. Finding the DVD I was excited to see this on the screen. When I started watching it, was a bit more disappointed. Not because of the fan service (IYKYK) but the episodes just felt rushed. Scenes felt like they were lacking more detail on what was going on and I then started feeling… “meh”. Honestly, if you buy it, you’re probably a fan of the series, but as a fan, I would say you could skip buying this and just focus on buying the manga. You’re not missing much at all.
