Worked well.
Great product. You can get the job done with other tools but this makes it easy. Heavier than I thought it would be.

Two Sockets for the Price of One
I wish that I had purchased this first! I was changing water heater heating elements and bought a socket from HD to fit the elements, and it worked fine. Then i decided to change the anode and learned that i needed another specific sized socket and came to Amazon to find one. This double-ended wrench does BOTH jobs and cost less than the singe-purposed tool from HD. This wrench comes in a couple of different lengths to accommodate space limitations. The sockets fit snugly at both ends and all it takes is a screwdrive through the holes to operate - no ratchet required. Buy this and save yourself the disappointment of wasting money on something else that does just one job.

Works perfectly for elements and anodes!
I used this on my Richmond water heater to help remove the anode rod and the heating elements. It will be a fight to get that old anode rod out, but that’s not this tools fault, and it held up to the task. Be prepared for some struggles if this your first time replacing the rod! The heating elements are much easier to remove and replace, and this socket/wrench makes it a breeze. Put the correct end on the large nut of the element, put a screwdriver or other stiff piece of metal small enough to pass through the holes, give it some force, and just like that you’ll be ready to put the new one in. I do wish it was a bit thicker metal, but to get into the spot where the anode is hidden, it can’t be much thicker so maybe that’s on purpose. I would’ve also like to see an option or attachment to use an impact driver, as that would allow pretty much anyone to get that stubborn anode out with ease. Other than that, this thing works great! I also just ended up using it to tighten the nut on a very hard to reach faucet mount, which are a standardized size, so if you’re in a pinch like I was, maybe give this thing a try!

Grrreat!
It held up to a lot of torque: the old element had broken inside the canister, so removing it wrapped it around what was left of the old element. I bent a socket wrench bar I used to turn the tool. I doubled the leverage by putting the end of the bar through the hole in the end of my crescent wrench. The tool did the job without splitting or deforming.

My element was not this size
The wrench is fine. I've had theses before and they work well enough. I had to return mine however due to no fault to ither of us. Turns out Rhem marathon elements aren't the standard size. I ended up spending a small fortune in a local hardware store for a socket that fit and it was so big I had to get a half inch drive handle for it. So unless you have a rheem marathon buy this and save a fortune.
