Absolutely fantastic! This is my fourth ATN scope. I started with a first-generation X-Sight and then moved on to two 4k X-Sights. I’ve been using this scope for a few months now, and it’s incredible—worth every penny. The optics are crystal clear, and the reticles are easy to use, providing clear visibility during the day and night. The accuracy is dead on. The integration of the range finder and scope makes this a formidable tool. Simply measure the distance by pressing a key, and ensure that ballistic calculations are active. Done! I’m particularly impressed with the battery life of this scope. The first-generation models required external power, but this one doesn’t show any battery usage after an entire night in the blind. The build quality is solid, and it looks fantastic on my precision rifle. With this setup, I can confidently shoot feral hogs in the head at 200 yards, even in the dark. The picture is incredibly clear and defined, which is why I prefer this setup for static hunting (like from a blind) over a thermal scope on an AR.

Was super excited to get this scope, put in on my rifle and go hunting. I was surprised to see that the firmware was already updated, so I didn't have to mess with that. Would not turn on for about 3 hours, while it charged (48% charge once it finally turned on). Was going through the set up process and it kept disconnecting to the app. I looked back into the scope to see a bright green screen with diagonal lines almost as if someone ripped off a sticker on a box. could not get it power off or function in any way. left it overnight for the power to run down. In the morning I let it charge for about 4 hours and was never able to get it to power on again. I called customer support directly to ATN. BTW - they out source their customer service / trouble shooting "hotline." I say this because the person I spoke with had no idea what was going on, I could barely understand him. His solution was to send it back in and they would ship me a new one. He didn't trouble shoot it, nothing; "that doesn't sound good, well, let's just get you to ship it back to us and we'll send another out to you when yours arrives 'here.'" Again, I had high hopes for this hunt I have coming up in a few days. I will have another sent to me and I will update this form if it is any better.

I'm extremely impressed with the ATN X-Sight 5 LRF! The night vision functionality is superb, providing clear and detailed visibility under low-light conditions. The one-shot zero feature is a standout, making it incredibly easy to calibrate accurately with minimal effort. The integrated laser rangefinder is seamless, ensuring that every shot is pinpoint accurate. Additionally, the battery life is impressive - I can go all night without needing a recharge, and it's still going strong. Overall, this scope offers fantastic value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable scope.

I was super excited to finally pull the gun on this new "high tech" scope to finally don't have to fiddle with elevation and wind turrets when shooting on the fly as ATN adds promised with full of great feature. A "Proud American Product!". Well all that hope died on the first day. For full price I feel deceived by ATN delivered to me a product not fit to their promised. Here are the reasons why: 1. Firmware full of bugs. freeze up every now and then when you try to move around the menu. If you press and hold direction key too long will cause temporary "halt" to all input. Menu are not fully thought through nor fully tested. You have no control of WI-FI within the Wi-Fi menu. you can only turn on/off from the "advance shortcut" that must be first enabled to then you turn on the Wi-Fi . i have to force shutdown 3x+ trying to turn on and connect to a promised "phone app" that doesn't exist on google play store. Even with the only app from ATN name Obsidian 4 can't even talk to the scope. don't know when we will have this either. If they want to work with me to improve their user interface then please reach out but I'm super disappointed of this rush release! 2. Keypad sometimes doesn't seem to respond to input. 3. FIXED OPTICAL - 3-15x or 5-25x is only digital magnification from the 4k chip signal. At first i thought it was a very shtty glass but after shining a light into the scope while trying to zoom to see nothing was moving. This is why we can't see any details when zoom over 2x the original magnification. Expect noises and blurriness when using the zoom feature. 4. recoil activated video? - didn't see it happening. i have to activate recording manually every time. 5. stuck SD card - the SD card slot has a big gap under the slot so if you insert the card at a higher angle you may have your card slide into the body of the scope and get stuck. 6. LRF - laser range finder is very inconsistent and finicky. read shorter when it's cool and when it's warmed up it read a few yards more than before. In Yard mode is precise but in Meter mode shots are very off at even close range of 30 yards. - I guest it's made only for American measurements. Sorry internationals. Lrf doesnt allign with the reticle so it's a hit and miss at time when target is small. 7. lrf Takes forever to go back to reticle mode - once you activate LRF the screen reticle will change so you can't shoot until it times out. why can't we hit it again to "accept measurement" and move on. 8. Not for small targets at long range. hard to see detail at long range because of the digital zoom. My $50 scope can zoom in at 15x and put this $1200 5x25 to shame. So what to love about it? the concept is great. hardware looks like it have potential (beside the digital zoom). Form factor is nice. night time ir vision is great. video recording is great when not zoom in. I would be happy if it's less than half the price. Because the software is a big mess and no phone app as promised but no delivery. Overall i feel that either this is a super rush release like the company needed money so it just push it out hoping to fix things later. Or the firmware guy is the owner of the company so he things he can fix it while it's out in the jungle. Sadly even the previous 4k pro version still reported not having a good working firmware to this date. This will likely be return within 2 weeks if no new firmware or phone app is released! Hopefully some other company with better brain powered team can make a competitor product soon. Aug 20. Phone app available. Wifi crashed after few minutes. Super hard to keep connection with scope. Video stream lags about 3 to 5 seconds. Its super stressful and frustrating to use this scope. Its being return and replace with burris eliminaror iv for sure for the same price. I'll give them another shot when atn comes out with version 10 if the company still survive these messes.

Scope itself may be great. I would not know at this point. First thing you have to do once you receive the scope is check the firmware. If the firmware is <476 you have to box the scope up and return it to ATN. Mine was 410 so of course i had to return it. If your firmware is >476 you can update it yourself. ATN needs to get a fix for this as this is a huge pain in the butt to immediately have to return a scope prior to even mounting it. Very disappointed.

This scope has been bumped and dropped while mounted on a venturi bullpup air rifle. Bulky and heavy.

Scope worked at night only to about 50 yards. Nothing like as advertised. Had better results with a regular scope and a flashlight. Predators at night are safe with this one.
