Lovely Autumn Shades 🍂
I’ve used a different shade of this King Cole Riot DK knitting yarn, so knew it was thinner than other DK yarns. This Autumn 1841 shade is lovely, I used it in my circular Addi kingsize knitting machine (46 needle) to make me a nice soft scarf. Please see my photos. I made the ball into a yarn cake first. It knitted up nicely, no dropped stitches

Soft variegated colours
This yarn seems thinner than dk. It’s nice and shades through various colours. The yarn is a bit fuzzy so the colours are muted and I would have liked clearer colours.

Lovely yarn!
I got this yarn to knit a scarf with, it's lovely and soft, knits up very nicely despite occaissionally the yarn splits and the thickness/thinness can vary but I think that adds to the texture! The colours blend into the next one really well so may not be suitable for very wide garments or blankets. In the photo the scarf is approx 10" across (unblocked) and knitted on 5mm needles. I will definitely be buying some more in different colours as well :)

Colours are fabulous and yarn is soft but can split during knitting and as mentioned before, the thickness of the yarn can vary considerably in a row of knitting. This is the reason for giving just three stars.

Beautiful wool to knit with.
I love King Cole wool. Knits up nice everytime. Im going to knit another cardi with matching hat in a different colourway of design ' riot'.

I love the way the colours blend together. Really good quality wool and very good value for money. I may need to get another colour.

Lovely and soft with beautiful colours. I wouldn’t class it as DK (see photo taken against another DK yarn), it feels more like 4ply although the thickness varies throughout the ball, so it’s 4ply in places and DK in others.
