It took us 30min-45min to deplete the battery and 15hrs to recharge them with ships power. With 100W charger it would take 2hrs to charge. Luckily, we didn't do any excursions at the 2nd port, so they were ready at our 3rd port to go again!!! I would suggest pairing with a "full face" snorkel mask. *****SAFETY ALERT-If you have long hair or dangling straps...tie them up. This device does not float, and doesn’t come with floaties, so when you stop, it sinks. In deep water, it’s hard to swim and hold onto it if you don’t have a life jacket or floaties. Easy solution but scary if you’re not careful. It has been dropped. Charging: you can’t use an iPhone charger. It must be a laptop charger with lighting port. I spent months dumbfounded why it wouldn’t charge even with the right port. It really is convenient when I figured that out. Overall, a good buy. My favorite beach toy. The dual motor is zippy on high. Super fun especially with snorkel & mask. Powerful enough to scoot to the beach or land from an anchored boat in light wind.
