Perfect for main bedroom cool down
Was so tricky deciding on what box of cool air to pay money out for but I really don’t regret my choice. This unit is brilliant at bringing the room down by a few degrees. I bought the 7000 BTU and works a treat, honestly great value for money. I have a co sleeping baby and this has been the best purchase for peace of mind. Not unsightly. Can be a little loud but great if you like white noise

Pro Breeze 4-in-1 Portable AC: Functional Cooling with Notable Efficiency & Durability Trade-offs
The Pro Breeze 4-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner offers a versatile and generally user-friendly solution for climate control. A key advantage is its easy installation process, allowing for straightforward setup. When in operation, the unit typically provides sufficient cooling for a room, effectively reducing the temperature to a more comfortable level. Beyond cooling, it also includes a dehumidifying function and a fan-only mode, adding to its utility. Its design ensures it is easy to move and position wherever needed, offering good flexibility. It comes with a solid fitting for sliding windows and a nylon sheet for fitting to a hinged window (this is what I used for a while) However, there are several aspects to consider that impact its overall performance and value. A significant point of inefficiency stems from its single-hose design. This means the unit draws air from the very room it's trying to cool to ventilate its compressor, which is then expelled outside. This process is highly inefficient and quite wasteful, as it pulls already cooled air out of the room, requiring the unit to work harder. It's important to note, however, that finding dual-hose designs, which are more efficient, is almost impossible in the UK market. Furthermore, while the unit cools, the built-in fan's power is somewhat limited, meaning it struggles to project the cooled air much further than a meter from its opening. For window ventilation, the included nylon window kit works adequately for hinged windows, but for optimal efficiency and a truly sealed environment, you might find yourself needing to engineer a more robust, custom-sealed cover. The unit is also notably noisy during operation, though it is worth mentioning that it may be less so compared to some other portable AC units on the market. A considerable drawback is the ventilation hose that accompanies the unit, which is prone to breaking and splitting very easily at the seams, potentially impacting the unit's long-term durability. Finally, from a cost perspective, this unit was quite expensive at the time of purchase, reflecting a period when AC units were less common. Nowadays, equivalent models can often be acquired for significantly less, sometimes as low as £200.

Happy that I bought it
It’s small, looks neat, it’s not as heavy as I thought it would be. Easy to move around with the wheels and to install and put it together. I wish the power cable would be much longer, is just about enough, You need to have socket next to the window or use extension. Hose itself is extendable, but also could be tiny bit longer. It isn’t quiet, you will definitely notice it working but it’s not overwhelming. You can get used to it during the day. Most people won’t be able to use it during the night tho. Cool the bedroom before you go to sleep is the way to go. It’s too loud the sleep with it on. It’s also the same loudness if you not using AC but e.g. just a fan, which I don’t quite understand. Performance wise is very good or alright, depending where you gonna use it. I have kitchen with living room together (29sqm) with 2,3m height and it cools it but with a lot of effort. On mildly hot day (24C outside) it took 2 hours to go from 26 to 23 ( AC set to 16). But also it may be to me having casement windows with just had some fabric for hose insulation, which is as effective as the bar for sliding windows. Plus I can fully close my blinds while the windows are open which fights with effectiveness of the unit. In the bedroom tho (18sqm) does the job very very well. Was 23C outside, 25.5C inside and it made bedroom 18C in just over an hour. And it just had the hose outside the window, no seal (the fabric one is such a pain to install on casement widows opening inwards). So yea, if you room is is over 25sqm it may take some time to lower the temperature. Under that and with easy heat extraction it will work brilliantly. But very happy with the product. And it costs just over £200! Just fab, fab, fab!

Can it handle the heat ?
It is roasting today so here is my review after a years usage . Very simply this machine cannot handle the heat. When in cooling mode the machine of course initially blows room temperature air then blows the cooled air lowering the temperature as desired . However, it blows the cooler air only for a small amount of time but then immediately returns to room temperature. As this cycle continues the machine does in fact produce heat out the back ( there is a plastic duct which heats up ) therefore actually increasing the temperature. I've noticed If you re going from 25 degrees to 22 it is more stable than when trying to come down from 28 degrees but at no time is a cooler temperature maintained. Nor is the humidity. To summarize, the cool air comes in short bursts and is overall ineffective. Given the expense in running this machine I cannot recommend it

Does the job but very loud
It is LOUD. The unit does work, during the most recent heatwave I put it on for an hour before going to bed and my bedroom was cooled down a lot but have no illusion about getting it and having it on during the night while you sleep. I usually have white noise or a fan on to sleep so I am not a light sleeper and there is no way I could sleep with this on. Also, the window kit was too small for my bedroom which is just a standard new build bedroom window. I had to buy another kit. So yes it works but it is not elegant and fit the price, I’d have expected a quieter experience

Great piece of kit 🥶
Item received next day, considering heat in uk that’s amazing in itself. I connected the hose and adapter to the window, turned ac on (7000 btu version) and has been running continuously for 4 days now. Not had to empty any tanks so far so water is being evaporated perfectly. Room temp is being maintained at 63f or 17.2c with external temps reaching 33-34c. Could not recommend enough.

Works just as described, has made my living room so much cooler.
A friend of mine recommened this to me as I've been struggling to sleep with the recent heatwave, so I took a gamble expecting it not to work and ordered it. What a huge difference this make's, very simple set up, easy to use and works within seconds. So glad I bought it, highly recommened and great value for money.

Good but could be GREAT!!
So, I needed an AC unit because my dog suffers in extreme heat and has a heart condition. I live in a modern house that is super insulated and boiling hot in summer. We have been deliberating getting one for a few years but having my best buddy diagnosed with a heart condition made the decision. The Pro Breeze 7000BTU is great AC Unit. Pros and Cons below. Pros: Cools our medium size living room down to 16c Easy to set up Great controls Very Portable Well Built Cons: The hose is way too short. Contacted Pro Breeze and asked for a longer hose (the one is 1.5M) and in a modern house with high Windows that's not long enough. I bought Hon&Guan Aluminium PVC Ventilation Air Ducting 150mm - 6 inch Flexible Vent Hose Pipe for Extractor Fan, Hydroponics(ø150mm*5m,White) which is perfect. It's quite noisy in AC mode. The drain plug is right on the bottom which makes the tube almost useless. There is no automatic oscillation - just a manual lever To be fair I have only just started using it and thus far it seems a good purchase. I know these things have to be built to a price so I cannot grumble - just annoying the Cons above stop it being a Great AC unit.
