Instapak Quick RT #10 Cushioning Foam Packing and Shipping Solution (15" x 18") 2 PACK

For my first time using this foam expander, it was pretty simple. Just follow some simple directions and you'll get it. The one thing I'd be careful about is the temperature; since the foam expands rapidly, it generates a lot of heat. I'd advise to let the foam rest for a bit after you're done packing. Nevertheless, great product!

Worked for what i needed it to, put these in my computer case (Mid tower took both bags to fully secure) and moved to kansas on a bus, computer fully survived the journey and these kept everything in place.

Pretty simple; it gets the job done for pretty cheap!

Easy to use as long as you know how you want things to be situated before you activate it.

Thanks Jay's Two Cents for sending me here. They have a good instructional video on packing a PC with these. I did 2 with tempered glass and both survived. Remove the GPU.

I thought all negative reviews of this product would be user error and failure to follow the instructions, but apparently not. My pack did not inflate more than halfway before the sealing material could no longer expand and fill the pack. It blocked itself off before it could inflate. Product arrived at destination undamaged, though. I added more of my own packing material around the interior of the PC case. I'm sure this failure of a pack did more than nothing, but it would have been nice if it actually filled all the way.

It did not completely inflate. I might have used it incorrectly, thats why I'm giving a 3 star review. I think after you pop the second chemical pouch, you are supposed to spread it with your hands to get it to completely inflate, but it doesnt tell you that in the directions. I used it for a computer build I was shipping. I probably wont purchase these again, unless the price lowers.

I've never used these before so I bought a 2-pack. I followed the directions precisely, but the first package didn't fully fill the bag and was sparsely distributed elsewhere. The second one I tried to spread the foam completely but it still failed to fill the bag. Could be user error but definitely didn't meet my expectations.

Ich habe nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, eine Kernbohrung in einer 30cm starken Mauer, wo auch Kabel durchlaufen, irgendwie schalldicht zu bekommen, da auf der einen Seite die Lautsprecher sind und auf der anderen Seite ein Schlafzimmer, in dem man sonst alles mithören muss, was so läuft. Es sollte also eine Füllung eingebracht werden, die wechselbar ist, den kompletten Bohrschacht ausfüllt und die Kabel in Ruhe lässt. Bauschaum hat nicht funktioniert, da es beim Einbringen zu schnell wieder ausfließt und bald schon alles ringsum voll ist, aber nichts drin geblieben ist bis es ausgehärtet war. Also habe ich diese wunderschönen Verpackungsschaumbeutel gefunden und nach ein paar Tests in dicken Papprollen, war es dann schon klar, wie es geht: Den ganzen Beutel in die Bohrung legen, die inneren Kapseln öffnen und nach 5 Sekunden ist alles bündig ausgefüllt und es kommt wirklich kein Pieps mehr durch :) Wie man damit Dinge verpackt, hab ich leider noch nicht getestet, aber ich kanns mir gut vorstellen und wenn es mal soweit ist, ergänze ich das natürlich gern hier noch...

I used it to ship my gaming PC, really protective and strong, just make sure to push the paper down so it can expand to that certain gap, gets really strong after a while.

Worked great, instructions were clear, helped me move my computer half way across Australia
